The camera can be remotely controlled via the app, which is really cool and definitely makes you feel like you’re a part of some super-secret spy film, except the surveillance footage is probably quite mundane. Reolink does offer a cloud storage service, but this isn’t completely necessary if you would prefer to store the footage yourself. Connecting the ieGeek to your smartphone is a simple process, but it is worth bearing in mind that the Wi-Fi connection it supports is only 2.4GHz. If your WiFi connection runs only on 5GHz , you may have to deal with this first.
