About this deal

Returning to the screen’s brightness ratio, the manufacturer thankfully chose not to skimp on this critical aspect. They increased the potential buyers of this monitor even more by adding 400 nits to the screen, which is now one of the best brightness ratios for displays. While other factors like color gamut and coverage are important, the panel’s building quality – which directly affects pricing – has an even greater influence on the IPS’ quality differences. The HP X32, speaking of which, features a square-shaped stand with a traditional design. It also boasts a narrow bottom bezel, which isn’t the smallest in the HP lineup but is within the norm. Corsair:Although known for their gaming peripherals, Corsair has started making gaming monitors, particularly high-end, high-refresh-rate displays, even those with OLED panels, but their lineup is small.

Acer is a Taiwanese computer and electronics hardware company founded in 1976. They offer displays for gamers and those looking for a simple monitor for the office. Their monitors are also versatile, as you can get a gaming model with good office features, which is great if you work during the day and game at night with your at-home setup. Another thing Acer excels at is ergonomics, as most of their models come with an easily adjustable stand. All performance specifications represent the typical specifications provided by HP's component manufacturers; actual performance may vary either higher or lower. Results may vary based on quality of the original picture/photo/video and difference between the previous monitor settings compared to the HP Enhance + mode.As a result, because this monitor is a bit more expensive than the norm, they had the room to increase the panel quality a little bit. And so they did, leaving the IPS glowing subtly and greatly enhancing the accuracy, allowing this monitor to shine with its rich colors. Brightness The operating humidity shows the acceptable level of humidity, in which the display will function flawlessly. It sets a lower and an upper humidity level for safe operation and is measured in percentage.

LG is an international electronics company headquartered in South Korea. They offer a ton of monitors, with new models coming out each year. One advantage LG has is that they produce their own OLED panels, so they've started making OLED monitors like the LG 27GR95QE-B or bigger displays that are almost like small TVs, like the LG 42 OLED Flex or even the ultrawide LG 45GR95QE-B. These OLEDs are good if you want the best picture quality, but if you're concerned about the risk of burn-in that OLEDs face, they have some great LED monitors available. BenQ:BenQ is a smaller company that produces good gaming monitors, but their models usually aren't as good as the competition as they tend to have limited picture quality. Live in the flow of 165Hz with a super-fast 1ms response time with MPRT and keep your gameplay smooth-as-silk with AMD FreeSync Premium.

Notable Mentions

MSI:MSI is another Taiwanese computer parts manufacturer that makes a few good gaming monitors, and have some productivity options, but their lineups are limited. Both characteristics are surely not what I expected to find on a monitor with such good image quality at such a budget price. To top it off, they’ve integrated AMD FreeSync Premium technology, which decreases screen tearing during games with an even better FPS range than the normal Freesync. Information about the maximum horizontal viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality.

The operating temperature shows the safe temperature range (from minimum to maximum), within which the display will function flawlessly. Outside this range it might operate improperly and/or fail entirely. Dell is an American company that has become one of the most well-known computer brands worldwide. They have a few different monitor lineups, and whether you need something basic for work, a high-resolution screen for photo editing, or if you're a competitive gamer, you'll likely find something interesting from Dell. Their entry-level S and P Series lineups are designed for the home and office, and the higher-end UltraSharp lineup usually has more productivity features, with the Dell U2723QE being an option from that lineup. This monitorhas a massive USB hub and offers many other features, including an accurate sRGB picture mode. If you don't need so many features but want a 4k screen, even the Dell S2722QC and Dell S2721QS are excellent low-cost 4k options. Lenovo:Like HP, Lenovo mainly focuses on basic office monitors that are decent for work. However, they don't have a big lineup. If you're looking for a monitor from ASUS, you'll have to decide what combination of refresh rate and resolution you need. They have 360Hz monitors, like the ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN, which has a 1080p resolution, or you can also get the 1440p, 360Hz ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN.If you don't need such a high refresh rate, both the ASUS ROG Swift PG279QM and ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM offer a 1440p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, with the PG27AQDM offering better picture quality. These are justexamples of the different options they have, and even the ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQR is an excellent 4k gaming monitor, which is ideal for console gamers. They also offer good office options with their ProArt lineup, like the ASUS ProArt Display PA278CV, which provides features like a USB hub. Our recommendations above are what we think are currently the best monitor brands and the best gaming monitor brandsavailablein the United States. This list isn't exhaustive, as there are still good brands that we've tested but haven't mentioned. When looking for a new monitor, it can be easy to get confused between all the different models, features, and brands. The monitor market is pretty big, and a lot of companies make monitors for a variety of uses, like those for work, gaming, or content creation. While there isn't any brand that's outright better than all other brands, some companies excel in some aspects better than others, like having superior build quality or extra features. This ratio enables the screen to offer exact images even when exposed to direct sunlight, which is a significant benefit for individuals who will be using the monitor in a bright area during the day. Approximate width of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the width is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio.
