Facebook posts – Often my peers/friends post interesting stories or ideas which spark new ideas for me. When I like a post, I turn to Google image search as it’s a good way to see more of the subject I am interested in. After I discovered the magic of Poo Pourri I, of course, wanted to understand how it worked. How did this little miracle spray manage to do so much?
This exhibition presents the Wellness Deity Project, which Srivilasa undertook in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This collaborative, Saturday morning is a very exciting time because I get to go to studio again! I love being in my studio. However sometimes I will take my cats to a small park around the corner for a walk. One day I hope to take them to my studio so they can stay with me there. At the moment though it is a bit hard as they still young and like to jump around, not a great combo for a ceramic studio! On Top of Everything' - another incredible work for Vipoo's show this month. Since the VIPoo barrier has kept the stinky molecules from escaping into the air, you’ll have a much better bathroom experience. All you’ll smell is fresh, clean air from the essential oils in the spray. Fun and fabulous sculptures! My new series of work explores my obsession with 'success', loaded with the ambiguity of what success means and how one might achieve it.A Dvarapala is usually portrayed as an armed fearsome guardian looking like a demon, but at the gates of Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka, Dvarapalas often display average human features. In Thailand, they are portrayed as a fearsome giants in a standing position holding a club downward in the center. Today some Dvarapalas are figures of policemen or soldiers standing guard. Batiz, who’s 54, succeeded against long odds. She grew up in a poor, chaotic household in rural Arkansas. She says her father was bipolar and an alcoholic and that her mother suffered from depression. Even as a teen she thought money would be her way out. To use VIPoo, you simply spray a layer of the scent on the water’s surface in your toilet bowl. You’ll need to tilt the bottle at an angle to target the surface of the water. Don’t turn it completely horizontal, as then the sprayer won’t work.

How we tested it With V.I.Poo it's important to plan ahead. Forget to pre-spray and you'll still find yourself wallowing in the wafty winds of shame. Likewise, V.I.Poo claims to target solids not gasses, so passing wind still presents a pungent problem. St Kilda is my favourite neighborhood mainly because my studio is there, so I know the place quite well. There are many nice cafes where I can go for lunch within a 10 minute walk from my studio. One of them makes a really good virgin mojito – great for a hot summer day!Conversation – Great conversations or discussions over a fabulous meal and sugar drinks (I do not drink alcohol as it makes me drunk, so I get hyped up on sugar instead!), always generate lots of good ideas for me. I have found the yummier the food, the better the ideas! It’s not meant to be sprayed directly onto skin, or into the air, or onto linens. Do not spray it in your face or on your body. If you maintain a safe distance from the spray when you use it, you’re unlikely to get any on you. You’ll find that this product is comparable to other competitors’ toilet sprays and works just as effectively. Closing Thoughts on Using V.I.Poo Spray

Vipoo in the studio. Photo - Eve Wilson. Which local ceramicists, artists and other creative are you loving at the moment?Most of my great ideas come while I am making work in studio. Ideas often pop into my head then! I think this is because outside of the studio, I constantly feed my brain with images and thoughts everyday. When I concentrate on my work, my brain settles down and is relaxed and free. Then all of the sudden everything just falls into place. I practice meditation every morning so this also helps to focus!
