To keep your cleaner working efficiently with full suction power and to prevent it overheating and cutting out we recommend that the filters are regularly cleaned. There are 2 filtersin your product: the hepa filter is found inside the dust box. Release the catch on the carry handle and lift the box out. Empty the contents out overyour dustbin by pressing theflap release catch. It was very easy to assemble there is one screw which is in the main part of the machine that you remove and you put the handle on and then insert the screw and that's it! 1 screw and it's already to play with This model promises to deliver excellent suction along with a lightweight build and incredibly compact design. To open the box so that it can be emptied and to also clean the hepa filter twist the lid until the 2 arrows line up, then the lid will come off.A problem I have with it is that the cord comes out of one side by pulling it and the button to retract it is on the opposit side of the machine.
