About this deal

I don’t get any “festive” or fall vibes but this is rather pleasant and I can see myself wearing this often and not getting tired of it. I'm wearing this now because all i get is straight up ORANGE! ...It has a nice slight and very light sweetness to it but that's about it. I can't smell anything else but maybe orange peel, tangerine, orange juice, a few refresher sweets thrown in, and a lil bit of washing up liquid. It smells like all them put together LOL. Ooh baby, this is delicious. First spritz- blast of warm juicy oranges, it eases into a sweetness that I can't quite describe, but I'm intoxicated by it. There is a warmness to this, which is appealing- especially, since this is citrus... there is a light brightness to the warmth... sweet and sour, a sparkling aura of delight... I've never smelled anything like this. Now, the dessert comes. That wow- holy mother of god, cake- oh, I've got to have that cake. But no, it smells way too good to eat. I don't want it to go away... Spice peaking through... It's only been a few minutes, so I'll return... :)

This dries down in to a muskiness, a certain warmth, something like cloves and pepper, whilst retaining that very strong orange top note. It’s not a bright red, plummy, juicy fruity, it’s a musky, citrus fruity. Cos it's Christmas now i've been spraying my jumpers with it and it doesn't even last on those. Dunno but i always associate Orange scents with Christmas. Should have been released in a bright orange bottle with a leaf-green cap for the sake of truth in advertising. (And wouldn't that have been unique & absolutely gorgeous?) There's nothing at all in/about Hidden Fantasy that suggests the color red. It has to be said that I love these bottles. They really are very pretty with the swarovski crystals embellishing the round, colourful bottle. I'm quite taken with it. Just as other reviewers have said, the longevity and sillage aren't great for me. However, it's cheap, so I'm happy to keep spraying.I don't care about the hate this comment will garner, but Britney Spears' Hidden Fantasy's fragrance is exponentially superior to Chanel's Coco eau de parfum (present formulation, NOT the vintage). I had no reason to be afraid. I hardly smell any clove and if I do it isn’t enough to deter me. A reviewer much further down mentioned that it smells similar to VivaLaJuicy Gold. I do see the resemblance but much much weaker, no caramel. It's so soft and cuddly,so comforting and so nice that whenever I feel cold and blue I use it to cheer me up and boost my mood.I find it nostalgic as it reminds me of the homemade orange-vanilla cake my mom used to bake and serve it with a cup of warm, cinnamon tea It's a fun and zesty blend of sparkling, tangy citrus blast with some awesomely noticeable verbena (that is honestly so rare for me to detect in perfume, yet it's a scent I love) and gentle cloves that settles into a warm vanilla and slightly woody base. I should at this point mention that this entire process takes at least 9 hours to complete (each stage lasting a little less time than the last so the "orange cake" stage is by far the longest) which for me is really good lasting power for a fragrance of this cost.

Soapy, creamy, tantalizing, sparkling, citrusy. sexy, appealing, addicting, love, hot and steamy, warm spice. Gotta have it. This is it... Wow. This was a blind buy at Action at a good price (100 ml), with a batch code from october 2016. Since I love the original fantasy and gourmands in general I felt confident to buy it since there was no tester. It opens with a LOT of orange, almost like orange juice, too much for my liking. You really have to love oranges to like this perfume!! Then it smells a lot like gluhwein or christmas, and the drydown is actually quite good, spices with a bit of orange, and has decent -not the best- lasting power. UPDATE: This lasts upwards of 10 hours on my skin! Not a skin scent either. I smell it everytime I move my arms. I LOVE Hidden Fantasy! Today I have it layered with Bonfire Bash body cream from BBW...another great pairing and perfect for Fall! These days I find myself reaching for my bottle of Hidden Fantasy whenever I want to fulfil a gourmand craving. It has just the right amount of citrus notes, sweetness and warmth. I have been wearing lots of Hidden Fantasy these last two Winters and am extremely impressed by both its quality and the lasting strength on my skin. Whenever I have received compliments on this fragrance, many are surprised to discover it's a Britney Spears scent. I expected hidden fantasy to be really sweet, spicy and gourmand.well it is sweet but not too much.there's no syrupy, intense sweetness here.it is also delicious but is not a totally foody gourmand to my nose.it's deliciousness shows up more in it's miffle phase and as it starts to dry down but it doesn't make me think of a speacial dessert,ok I think of orange cake but just sometimes.maybe because it's sweetness is origanated by vanilla, amber and woody notes not just vanilla.or maybe jasmine gives it a perfumey vibeI am re-writing my review of Hidden Fantasy as I feel that my previous review, (written almost a decade ago), does not reflect my current opinions regarding this often underrated Britney Spears fragrance. At first this gem played a "ping pong" with my nose. The notes bounced off each other on my skin and I got a bit of what I thought was tonka (probably the clove and other woody notes), which all reminded me of Cynthia Rowley's "Flowers" for Avon (I donated it to Salvation Army!). And I must brag on the beautiful bottle it comes in. It's such a lovely red color with the light pink "gems" all over it. It really stands out on the perfume counter, especially when it's sitting next to something else that makes it shine all the more.
