About this deal

For a coastal walk, there’s a leisurely 4.5km (2.8 miles) hike from Cala Xarraca to Cala Xuclar, which turns inland through wooded valleys before emerging out at the coast. At the far left end of Salinas Beach lies the true hippy spirit of Ibiza in the shape of the iconic Sa Trinxa beach bar and restaurant. Its famous green wooden walkway that reaches out into the crystal waters is instantly recognisable, and beach dwellers love to stay until after sunset to sip on beers and soak up the good vibes. Old stone walls, steep cobbled streets and narrow alleys all focus towards the fortress, which towers over the city. Cross the drawbridge of Portal de Ses Taules into a quaint cobblestone courtyard before entering the Plaza de Vila – the main square. This coastal town is the third largest on the island, but the atmosphere is totally different to what you might expect from a large town in Ibiza. Just over 20km from the airport on the eastern side of the island, Santa Eulalia has a relaxed pace, with clean, white sandy beaches and a long promenade that follows the coastline. The town is overlooked by Puig de Missa, a 16th century church that sits atop a hill to the west of the town. Wander up the winding path for amazing views over the picturesque town and Balearic Sea.

If you’re keen to explore the quiet side of Ibiza, it is very helpful to hire a car. If you’re renting a car, I’d highly recommend hiring a 4 x 4, or at least something sturdy. From its location at the much more tranquil southern end of Playa d'en Bossa, Coco Beach is a classy beach club offering superb cuisine, stunning sea views, and highly attentive service. Add to that its trendy fashion boutique, cutting-edge pop-up art gallery and great sounds and you have all the ingredients for a day (or night) of luxurious dining and pampering! It prides itself on its exceptional service from catering to whatever you feel like eating, to allowing you to reserve the entire spa for yourself. It’s the place to go for sheer self-indulgence. What to do there: Explore the beautiful island by foot, bicycle, or rented scooter, stopping to climb historic watchtowers to soak up the vistas, follow boardwalks through the undulating sand dunes, spot diverse nature, and discover gorgeous hidden treasures. Go snorkelling in the aquamarine waters to marvel at the rich array of creatures that inhabit the sea. This luxury family hotel is located in Santa Eulalia del Río, which is often considered the quietest part of Ibiza and a popular destination for families in Ibiza.Sophisticated holidaymakers are sure to love the classy bistros and stylish marinas of Santa Eulalia while the sheltered sandy bay of Port Des Torrent is the perfect spot for romantic beach breaks. My tastes had evolved by this point; I liked to sleep and good food, and my eardrums. The thought of spending a weekend cheek-by-jowl with drunk girls in PVC miniskirts shouting “oi oiiiii” to the deafening thump of relentless trance music was my idea of hell. Set up for the day on Playa Mijorn or Playa Ses Illetes, munch on some fresh coconut or pineapple from the beach vendor and enjoy a relaxing, quiet day in the sun. At Beachouse it's possible to imagine being transported to a very cool spot in the Caribbean. Like the venue, the cuisine is rustic, yet sophisticated: Mediterranean fare with a dash of Italian. You'll enjoy its small-scale intimacy, clean lines and general airiness. Think boho chic with a dash of the spiritual and mystical. Whether you drop in for yoga on the beach, breakfast, lunch or dinner, we think it's quite divine.

Here you can have your fill of restaurants and bars, handicraft shops and fresh produce markets, plus art galleries and museums. Cala d’Hort is also a well-known quiet retreat. Hidden away in a national park, this beach has managed to keep all of its natural beauty and hasn’t been commercialised by huge hotels and noisy bars. Instead, you’ll find an idyllic spot looking over the mysterious island of Es Vedra, the perfect place to appreciate the beauty of Ibiza. Ibiza island isn’t very big. You can drive across it in less than an hour. So, nowhere is out of reach. Set at the juncture of the river and Santa Eulalia's promenade, close to the resort of Siesta, UM Beach House is a classy beach club offering Mediterranean and international dishes, smooth service, and masterful mixology. With comfy seating and shaded nooks, it’s easy to spend the day here, chilling out in the breeze with your toes in the sand while listening to its tribal rhythms. When I was a teenager I was desperate to go to this mythical island. I’d heard of the clubs, the DJs, and the “sleep when you’re dead” mentality and it sounded so darkly glamorous I was dying to be a part of it. For those seeking a little R&R, Ibiza’s gorgeous coastline is home to plenty of quieter holiday resorts that show there's so much more to this island than all-night parties. For families seeking a relaxing escape in Ibiza, Six Senses Ibiza is a luxury hotel offering suites to four-bedroom residences to cater to the whole family.

Poppy Kain recommends seeking out Cala Carbo, a hidden beach that’s home to two good restaurants, one more casual than the other. “Same owner, same fish,” says Poppy. “The difference at the cheaper restaurant is that you sit on plastic chairs – but the menu is basically the same. Have a long lunch, go for a swim, and watch a pink sunset from here.” Ibiza has made a name for itself as being the clubbing capital of Europe, but the island itself is making efforts to show that it has much more to offer than nightclubs and cheap shots, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. White Isle-inspired house music, reinvented by our 32-piece orchestra, headline DJs and live vocalists You can have any holiday you want there, from a week of high-end relaxation to a hedonistic dance-til-dawn weekend. Why it’s awesome: Located in the north of the island, the small and scenic island of Sant Mateu d’Albarca is one of the most romantic places to visit in Ibiza. A fabulous place to escape the crowds and discover a more traditional and rural part of the island, the village lies in a lush and fertile valley. The area is especially known for its wine-making heritage, and visitors can call into one of the wineries to learn more about the industry and sample delectable local wines. The vineyards and verdant countryside are ideal for hiking and cycling, and the village has a number of photogenic buildings to admire too. The village hosts a wine festival each December.

Promising a night of wholesome euphoria, our diverse crowd of partygoers all contribute to the feel-good atmosphere. Designed for people of all ages, it’s an opportunity for generations to come together and enjoy iconic music in a stunning location. A modern and lively beach club located on the sands of Ibiza's longest beach, Tuk Tuk Ibiza is a popular offering. Snooze under straw-thatched umbrellas or enjoy classic Spanish and Mediterranean treats with an Asian twist, deliciously fresh salads, sushi, fish, meat and more. The atmosphere is unpretentious and uplifting, with trendy young things living their best Ibiza lives.

If you really want to steer fully clear of the party scene, the places to avoid in Ibiza are San Antonio and Playa D’en Bossa. These areas can get quite hectic. Although the latter still has some great spots to eat at the far (most southerly) end of the beach. Classic Ibiza is an open-air celebration of White Isle-inspired house music, reinvented by a 32-piece orchestra, headline DJs and live vocalists. Touring some of the UK's most stunning stately homes, this isn’t just house music – this is stately house music. So, where is the quiet side of Ibiza? Crudely speaking, the north of the island is the most untouched and hippyish and most of the well-known nightclubs and activity are contained in the southwest.

San Antonio is famed for its beautiful sunsets but why jostle among the crowds when you can have your own slice of the evening at Cala Salada? This secluded beach is slightly further north than San Antonio and you’ll have the ocean mainly to yourself as the sun sets on another blissful day in Ibiza.
