About this deal

We always cook fudge on a high slow cooker temperature setting and it takes around 40 minutes in total. You could make it on the low setting but it would take longer and would still need to be stirred regularly. You may as well keep the slow cooker on high and be done in under an hour! When cooking, is the slow cooker fudge lid on or off? If you don’t heat your fudge mix to this temperature, then it won’t set when it cools. So you’ll end up with something more like a caramel sauce. Why did my Cadbury Creme Egg fudge turn out gritty or grainy? Once your fudge is made all you need to do is add the Creme Eggs for decoration and leave it to set overnight on the counter. Not forgetting grandma’s favourite fudge – Rum and Raisin flavour! Our Rum and Raisin fudge is free of artificial colours, gelatine and gluten-free as well as being vegetarian friendly. Everybody young and old will love this traditional fudge favourite.

This slow cooker fudge keeps well in the fridge, in an airtight containerfor a couple of weeks. The flavour matures over the first couple of days of it being in the fridge so you get the full flavour after it’s been in the fridge for a few days. Can you make this fudge in the microwave? Or add any other chocolate topping you prefer - some mini chocolate bunnies could be very cute! How should I store Cadbury Creme Egg fudge? If you’re looking for more recipes to try, here’s our peanut butter fudge, caramilk fudge and mint chocolate fudge. You can see all our recipes to date here including many more slow cooker recipes.
