About this deal

This enchanting illustrated book builds upon children’s love of finding shapes and pictures in clouds. Ana Paula is heartbroken by her unsuccessful attempts, but she refuses to give up on her enormous dream and chooses to try each time again. She is unafraid of failing and understands that perseverance is the only way that she will achieve her goal. A few reviewers said that the subject matter was a little too advanced for small children. Pros and Cons of The Cloud Book by Tomie dePaola Pros

When you’re selecting a children’s book about clouds, keep the following criterion in mind: the reader’s age, interest, and theme. If the book hits all of those factors on the nose, it’s more likely that the child will enjoy — and maybe even love — the book and want to hear or read it again and again. The Reader’s Age Greta is obsessed with the dark cloud that appears to follow her everywhere. Her teacher makes doesn’t comfort her with hugs or cuddles. When the teacher finally forces her to face the storm, she discovers it also delivers good things. This book from the Let’s-Read-And-Find-Out Science series is all about weather forecasting. Weather forecasts tell us what the weather will be like. But they aren’t always correct. In fact, sometimes they are very wrong and leave people unprepared for the weather they experience. This book explains that weather can change when the wind begins to blow air in from a new direction. It describes cold fronts (when cold air pushes against warm air) and the types of weather they cause. It also describes warm fronts (when warm air pushes against cold air) and the type of weather we can expect when a warm front comes in. It describes the kinds of things that meteorologists do to try to predict the weather, like assessingtemperature, wind direction, and air pressure. This book is ideal for ages 5 to 9. Hi, Hello and How Are You ( Watch on YouTube) with Let’s All Clap ( Watch on YouTube) from Jbrary Books about Clouds Even though the material is scientific, this book follows a logical progression that makes the information easy to understand.Several reviewers said that the story was boring. One indicated that the number of illustrations overwhelmed the storyline. Pros and Cons of Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day by Dylan Dreyer (Author) and Rosie Butcher (Illustrator) Pros This is an excellent comprehensive and up-to-date introductory textbook on clouds. The multiple choice questions and mathematical problems at the end of each chapter are invaluable for learning. Carefully written in a logical and easy to follow manner, this book will be a great addition to the teaching of clouds and their role in climate at the upper-level undergraduate and early graduate level.’ There are many good pictures in this book, but it is very simple. However, I couldn't fool my Four! There is no need for another book about clouds. Some parts of the layout were a little too busy and colorful, but it's still an interesting book to read! Clouds, by Anne Herrigas

This beautiful storybook shows water in all of the various forms it takes as it goes through the water cycle. For example, water iswater, until it heats up and becomes steam. And steam is steam unless it cools down at a high elevation and becomes a cloud. And a cloud is a cloud unless it sits on the ground as fog. So on and so on the story continues through rain, puddles, ice, and snow. This book will be appreciatedby kids ages 4 and 10 for its beautiful illustrations. Kids on the younger end of the age range will enjoy the introduction tothe different forms water takes, while older children who are already familiar with the water cycle will recognize how water is being cycled throughout the story, even though the term “water cycle” is never explicitly mentioned. Create a ‘cloud diary’ to describe / show what the clouds look like near to your home or school at different times of the day or week. Children of all ages can be interested in the sky and the great clouds uniquely displayed there. On car rides or barbeques, little ones will point and say look, that cloud looks like a horse or dragon. Their imaginations are more active than ours, which is a truly admirable trait. These cloud books are thoroughly reviewed to meet several criteria. The book includes fun outdoor activities , incredible photographs, simple stories, and lots of information. Reading level is so important when it comes to children because if it’s too complex, they may feel disappointed that they can’t follow, and if it’s much too simple, they may feel less interested. Everyone has the ideal reading level and when you hit that sweet spot, that’s when you become most engaged. Some books are more focused on photography and illustrations with short snips of text while others are more text-heavy with a few pictures strewn throughout. When selecting the right book, make sure that it appeals to the reader, whether that’s you or a loved one! The 3 Different Types of Books About CloudsSeveral reviewers didn’t like the book’s layout. Pros and Cons of The Cloud Book byRichard Hamblyn Pros A few reviewers were disappointed with the quality of the photographs. Pros and Cons of The Book of Clouds byJohn A. Day Pros

This was the first time I saw the nonfiction series, Abdo Kids, and I learned about it. I'm now a big fan! On the left side of each spread, there are only a few sentences and a big picture.
