What’s in it for her? and I could not stand the fmc, was it because I’m from california with west coast elitism, maybe. but she spent the entire book like “I hate california so much, how did I ever live in california, it’s nothing compared to NYC” like babe shut up and enjoy your city then PLS, get your transplant ass out of here

So this went well and I'm happy. Starting this I had bottom low expectations and it helped a lot while reading this. This book has no interest being this long, cus nothing actually happened, it was a mix of random scenes put together. Also one of the crimes that have been committed in this book is to add Taylor swift in the playlist. It all felt like the author saw a bunch of these quote videos on tiktok, decided to take the most viral ones into the book, throw sex scenes and publish it. Main girl was so not like other girls, insecure, cus he's so handsome and wealthy and could have every model and miss worldwide he wanted, but she's so plain🥺 *insert eye roll*

I realized Manhattan was no longer the place I call home. I’d call anywhere home if it meant I was with her, because my home is no longer a physical place. My home is her. But to tell me this at the end where I already established that I hate them. Made me hate them more.
Also what drove me mad were dialogues, to be specific - how men talked, cus they didn't talk, they GROWLED, ROARED, HISSED EVERY DAMN TIME THEY OPENED THEIR MOUTH wtf are they dogs??? Isn’t it obvious? I bought the company so you had no choice but to talk to me. I am your boss now, after all.” Overall, I had a great time reading this book! Time flew by while reading this, and I didn’t want to put it down — additional thanks to how short the chapters were because I am a BIG fan of them LOL 👏 If this book interests you in any way, I definitely recommend it. I’m dead serious!!! There was an attraction between them in the past. But it was unspoken and from very afar!!!
A very cheap rip off of that “other book” that I happen to very much love and adore. I didn’t like this book at all. My problem wasn’t that it was similar similar to that “other book”, as book dupes doesn’t bother me much. But rather it’s this book only that I just don’t happen to like, and simply despised it. It was really corny, cringe and with the WMC as a whiny and annoying character, and a hero with zero personality except making big talks 💀 It’s insulting that you think I’m normal. I’m far from normal, Margo. I’ll go to great lengths to get what I want.” both the characters were so annoying LMAO, like how is the second thing you say to this girl talking about how w*t her p*ssy is pls go to church or something idk I need to stop taking recommendations from TikTok🙃 ... at this point my planned tbr won't make it far There wasn't ANY kind of chemist between the main characters, he fell in love the first time he saw her🙄, she loved him since like week after they met🙄

They watch us with curious envy, like they're trying to figure out how I managed to get a man like him to walk down the busy sidewalk with me hand in hand” I was in a bit of a reading slump before I read this, but it’s safe to say that this book brought me out of it 🎉 It was everything I didn’t know I was looking for, and I loved it way more than I expected! 🤩I wanted to cut her vocal chords with kindergarten safety scissors so I wouldn’t see her speak again. The author promote for this book with 2 things and because booktok is easily satisfied!! She succeed Yeah - have mention that at first I almost gave up at how insta -lust hate hate insta lust /love but continue reading cause these 2 have a past together 🖤.
