Having completed a recent Brainstorm Toys Deep Space Home Planetarium and Star Projector review, we feel that it deserves a spot in this guide as a great STEM toy that will captivate kids ages six and up, and, in our opinion, spark their interest in all things space-related. We were enamored and blown away when she first turned it on in our living room after opening it on her birthday. It transformed the whole room into the northern lights and a spectacular show of swirling colors. It was magical. We all suddenly found ourselves laying anywhere so we could enjoy the show together. It serves no other purpose or provides any scientific accuracy. Still, it is a discrete, affordable, high-quality device that puts out visually stunning lasers to transform your surroundings while drawing very little energy.

What we didn’t expect was how relaxing and soothing it is to lay beneath the projection as it softly illuminates the bedroom with the various white sounds you can choose from. My daughter falls asleep within minutes of it being on when normally she fidgets for awhile at bedtime.
