About this deal

Inexpensive flights, numerous activities, warm waters, and diverse cultures make both the U.S. and British Virgin Islands ideal wedding and honeymoon destinations. The U.S. Virgin Islands are especially convenient for U.S. citizens because they don’t require a passport for entry, making it easy for couples and their guests. Three separate locations – St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John – invite travelers to enjoy exotic island beauty and colonial history. As for the British Virgin Islands, a tranquil experience awaits where you’ll enjoy sailing, white-sand beaches, and flavorful Caribbean cuisine. Cayman Islands Three couples. One midsummer's night. Can everyone get their happy ever after? About This Edition ISBN: New York Times bestselling author Jenny Colgan brings us a delightful summer novel that will sweep you away to the remote Scottish island of Mure, where two very different weddings are about to take place…

Olivia and Anthony are planning A Very Extravagant Wedding at the newest hotel on the tiny Scottish island of Mure. They’re flying in chefs, musicians and something called a living flower wall… and no one is even allowed to think the word bridezilla. You’re a prolific writer—publishing 2 novels a year, while writing 2 novels a year—you’re a wife, mother of three, how do you do it, what’s your secret? I loved this novel and every single one of its characters. Supremely heartfelt, hilarious and heartrending – it’s an absolute triumph.’ Sophie KinsellaAsh is talking to Argot over the computer from Syria to Scotland but we don't know much. We know he saw his mother but we don't know if they are all living together as a family or anything. I am a longtime fan of Jenny Colgan and have read all of her books. This series has been one of my favourites. But this one... I think Colgan has said a lot of things she didn't necessarily intend to say. Island wedding destinations offer their own special kind of magic. No matter what part of the Caribbean you decide on for your destination wedding, you’re sure to have an experience that will stay with you forever. All-inclusive resorts allow you to leave the legwork to the professionals while you, your spouse-to-be, and your guests relax and enjoy the fun. I have read many of Jenny Colgan’s books in the past and have always enjoyed her style of writing. While An Island Wedding was not my favorite, I will continue to read her books in the future.

I like to eat almost anything, but I think if I was to be totally honest with what I really, really love eating, it would be my morning cup of coffee with an everything bagel and cream cheese. An unforgettable setting, quirky characters and food for thought are all guaranteed in Sunrise by the Sea. BookReporter.com I wake early, mess about on the internet, get the kids to school, walk the dogs, then settle down with a big sandwich about 11am and plough on through till the afternoon. 2000-2500 words depending on where I am on the schedule. I like to take one of the dogs to a coffee shop. One is well-behaved and one is naughty so the good one gets a lot more outings. The setting on the tiny island of Mure is so much fun. The island and village are well described and it’s just such a nice escape to visit the island and interact with all these fun characters. And then there’s Lorna and Saif. The local headmistress and the GP desperately keeping their relationship a secret to protect his sons. But while they’re looking out for the boys, who’s looking out for them?

New York Timesbestselling author Jenny Colgan brings us a delightful summer novel that will sweep you away to the remote Scottish island of Mure, where two very different weddings are about to take place… Take a Look at Our Summary of November Highlights, Whether You're Looking for the Latest Releases or Gift Inspiration I find Colgan's books to be like receiving a hug--full of comfort and warmth and I know that I'm getting a lovely, delightful read with every one. Also, a former resident of the island, Oliva Macdonald has decided to have an over-the-top, spectacle of a wedding the very same weekend as Flora’s wedding. Oliva brings her wedding planning entourage to the island and nothing will be the same for Flora. Genres: Fiction / Friendship, Fiction / Romance / Contemporary, Fiction / Small Town & Rural, Fiction / Women They’re places I know well and absolutely love and I really hope that comes across to the reader. When people get in touch and tell me it feels like they’re there when they read me, that’s a huge compliment. I change the names of towns, though, people hate it if you write about their town and get even a tiny thing wrong!

Flora is trying – and failing – not to let Olivia and Anthony’s wedding distract her from planning her own big day with Joel. But the couple have wildly different ideas about how to celebrate and somehow, just when their relationship should be plain sailing, everything is suddenly very hard indeed. I WANT MORE! Dikke aanrader, dus! An Island Wedding by Jenny Colgan is her fifth book in her popular Mure series but can be read as a stand-alone book. In fact, the author includes a brief synopsis of the series in her introduction, which was very helpful. So, although you can read An Island Wedding as a stand-alone, you’ll want to read the entire series as these characters are so much fun, and the setting is gorgeous and a place I’d love to visit someday, even if it’s fictional! Jenny, over the course of the last 25 years, you’ve written more than 30 books under your name, and several under two pseudonyms. How did you begin your writing career? Did you ever imagine you’d become an international sensation?Such as: Even your best friend in the world will never call out someone being brutally unkind to you. And seeing people habitually abusing their partners in public (Jan to Charlie) will not prompt anyone to intervene in any way.
