About this deal

The characters are great, the story was intriguing and kept my guests guessing. They're still talking about it a month later. so opt for a printed invitation and either hand deliver or use the snail mail. Use parchment paper for your invitations or Choosing a venue was hands down the most difficult part. Not only are my and my friends’ apartments too small for this size of group, I wanted the setting to be worthy of Mystery Manor. I had visions of chesterfield sofas, fireplaces, candelabras, and pre-war architecture, which believe it or not, is actually fairly easy to find in Chicago. But most of those venues and bars were either too expensive or simply unable to accomodate a private party on a busy Saturday night. Follow the following seven easy steps to host the ultimate '20s themed murder mystery party. Your guests won't stop talking about your event for years to come!

Then, finish with a subtle pink or peach blush to your cheeks for a fresh, flawless look.Pork chops with mushrooms and wine, was a popular main course in the 1920s. Made with garlic, mushrooms & thyme, then seared and simmered in red wine. To make these you will need Pork chops, mushrooms, red wine, butter, garlic and thyme. To make your own Porkchops with mushrooms and red wine there is a good recipe.

The beginning was a little awkward as everyone tried to figure out what they were supposed to be doing and gauge how into it everyone else was going to get. But before long, British accents were flying around the room left and right, people were sneaking off into corners to bribe one another for information, and the wine was flowing like the year was 1927 and it was a speakeasy. A touch of class: try sparkling clear wine glasses, crisp white tablecloths, flowing white drapes, fake plastic pearls and diamonds scattered across every surface.
