About this deal

Daws not only made it, he smashed the ceiling in every way imaginable. The swoons, the awkward situations that made me gasp with laughter, the tears of laughter, the heartfelt moments and the Scotch whiskey of heartbreak. It was all at once. it was perfection. This has been a great series and since there are so many other supporting characters, such as those three hulking hillbilly brothers, it might not be the end. Maybe Amy Daws has a few more stories to tell. Poppy awakened one day and realised she felt more for him than best friends. Her plan to confess her feelings were derailed. The night she was prepared to confess her feelings to him, he takes someone else to their ‘place’ and she catches him in a compromising position, breaking her heart. May I have felt thoroughly hot from a sexy scene, and had my heart broken minutes later, followed by heart eyes at some sweetness? Why yes, yes, I may. In the best possible way. But one stormy night when the power goes out, he discovers Cozy doesn’t hate him. In fact, he’s the leading role in her fantasies. Details About Last on the List

Not my thing. The reason I am not reading any more Amy Daws. We are going to have to agree to disagree about what makes a good sex scene.Vi Harris comes with baggage most men can’t handle. A famous ex footballer for a father and four professional footballing brothers. Brothers she helped raise after their mother died. Cozy and Max!!! Last on the List is officially my favorite book for single dad and nanny romances. Last on the List is an appropriate name for this book. Max and his preteen daughter, Everly, are interviewing nannies to help out with Everly for the summer. Everly ends up being the last nanny to interview and she literally entered the room with a bang. Cozy is a free-spirited woman whose life philosophies go against everything Max wants in a nanny. Everly doesn’t care though and automatically hires Cozy as the live-in nanny, and it’s hilarious from there watching Cozy become a part of their family in the best way possible! Last on the List was an absolute pleasure to read and listen to. Cozy and Max were very entertaining, especially Cozy with her inner thoughts on her own ZADDY!

With Everly staying with him for the summer while his ex-wife is abroad on business, Max knows they will need a live-in nanny. You have expectations, but Cozy was the epitome of the unexpected. But with Everly’s seal of approval, Max has to keep an eye on the new babysitter. His approach may be whimsical, but is it possible that things will fall in love when Max gets cozy in the summer (winks)?

I didn’t buy the friends-to-lovers here. Usually this kind of stories have depth to them. They are showing friendship turning to love while here the only thing I saw was sex. Overall: By the middle of the book, I genuinely thought the two protagonists are better off not together, which imo doesn’t bode well for the story. In comes Booker. Booker is the unassuming kind.. quiet, reserved.. not all that take-charge attitude. Unless he is on the pitch.. OR. With Poppy McAdams. His best friend. Who he couldn't possibly fancy....... Poppy è una ragazza molto solare e divertente, mi è stata simpatica fin dal primo momento e ho tifato per lei e per il suo lieto fine per tutto il tempo. Max started off a bit grumpy but from the very beginning I knew I would love him because his daughter always came first. I not only loved how much he loved his daughters, I also loved how he treated Cozy's body insecurities. He got mad that she didn't see herself the way he did and made sure to tell her why she was perfect the way she was. Cozy was different in the beginning, she came into this book like an airhead with a very whimsical way about her but then as we get to know her we find that she gets nervous and that's when she gets a little bit crazy LOL. She is actually a very intelligent, caring and creative person. I loved that she loved Everly from the beginning. The author included a lot of scenes with the daughter Everly which is a huge plus for me since a lot Romance books tend to forget the kids in the story. This book has a few very funny scenes that had me laughing out loud but it also had some serious topics like unhealthy work environments, stress health, divorce and LGBTQ parenting. That reminds me, I need to mention how much I LOVE a book that has a couple who are divorced and can still remember that they are adults that once were in love and make sure their child sees that they can make their new dynamic work. <3 Perfection!!!

Booker broke my damn heart with how he feels towards love, I just wanted to wrap him in my arms and squeeze the shit out of him. The poor lad knows loss and fears love, that must be extremely hard to love with. This was another book I really enjoyed but had a few odd things for me. Either way, I really enjoyed this one. Amy’s debut novel, called “Chasing Hope”, was released in the year 2014. Her work is from the romance genre. Thank you @bbooksreview for the great rec! I’ve now added Amy Daws to my list of authors to look for.Overall this book was quite funny and very steamy! I loved the chemistry between the main characters and I actually really enjoyed the break down of their relationship and watching them get over their differences to repair it. The "break up" made sense in this romance read, which it usually never does! Cozy's grand gesture was so cute! Camden Harris, the famously hot, hulk of a footballer is laid up in a London hospital. But his busted knee doesn’t stop him from running his well-practiced game on Indie Porter—his redheaded spitfire of a doctor. But when her sister begs her to introduce her for the job of nanny to a demanding client, she has no reason to say no.
