Danielle steel was a good author and I thought She nailed it . She put a lot of her emphasis on romance. This story had a bit of romance, but it was a real good CIA go get them kind of story. There is a little bit of romance in this book, but it’s mostly about Veronique and her journey as she adjusts to her new life. Yes, yes, yes finally a positive novel by the legendary Danielle Steel. It’s not a story of a woman losing everything, a victim of a terribly abusive man, overcoming odds, yet their wealthy and beautiful throughout. Their attraction is instant but soon danger is lurking in the shadows ready to pounce on both of them.

Although Danielle Steel's writing is horrific by my criticism, I wouldn't doubt that the plot would have been grand as most others have been talking about and I just wish I could see that for myself. Danielle Steel is not for me and I will sadly say that I will be staying far away from even considering reading any other books by this author. Invisible by Danielle Steel is a pleasant story about a young woman who wants to be, and stay invisible. The timespan covers post-war Paris, and modern New York City.

Brothers and sisters Lyle, Gloria, Benjie, Annabelle. and twins Caroline and Charlie, are all at different stages of life personally and professionally. I was captured by the way they faced their individual situations while dealing with moving forward as a united family in the midst of anguish. I appreciated this touching and emotional look at family dynamics, grief, and sibling bonds written in Steel's special style.
