While these actions create a seemingly dynamic environment in which players act and interact with each other in absence of your direct input, they have little effect on the outcome of a match.

The formation and ideology of the team you're playing against makes a significant difference to whether you can score those ridiculous shots, though.

The Brazil national football team feature in the game, despite the domestic league not being included.Most of the time they’re fast and devilishly hard to beat, charging out to grab the ball when necessary, while not abandoning the goal when not. Their movements are more diverse, allowing skilful players to perform a range of spectacular gymnastics in an effort to keep the ball out of the goal. Team-mate positioning is extremely questionable, often leaving huge gaps for smart opponents to exploit, and they’re less likely than last year to make intelligent overlapping runs, even when you couldn’t make it clearer that you’re looking to play them in.
