About this deal

Imagine spaffing the cost of La Nuit de l'Homme and then realising that Lancome created a fragrance that was in a way similar but you could smell, and lasted a nominal 9-5 shift. Well similar in the sense that they have that smooth ambery spice , lavender and cardamom. But this just reminds me of a very sophisticated airport departure lounge whereas the YSL just did not have any lasting impression ( maybe because it often left after introducing itself like a shy painfully socially awkward party guest). I really don't understand why Lancome only have tis one fragrance for men, they really could a couple more as this has a classic impression that's masculine without veering toward 'macho'. After i found out that this was going to be discontinued (in fact, it was discontinued recently) i bought a 50ml bottle of this. Not because i really love this but because it's weird and intriguing. Another fragrance I find similar in the drydown is Viktor & Rolf's "Antidote". It smells like a super-complex, multi-layered, niche, unisex variant of hypnosis. But does the vibe have any.

Eau de toilettes have a small concentration of perfume oil versus other ingredients, typically five to fifteen percent. This means they have lighter sillage and shorter longevity than Eau de parfums. Lancome Eau de toilettes include: Despite everything I find hypnosis independent and special! If, like me, you are a lover, and not just a user of perfumes, you should definitely try it or add it to your collection. Le Male is stronger, more maritime, therefore really refreshing / cooling in the summer or during sports, and at the same time better cushioned by the vanilla there sweeter. And probably even more attractive.Thierry Wasser: A master perfumer most famous for his work with Guerlain, who created the Hypnose line. Models featured by Lancome As far as men's fragrances are concerned, the house of Lancôme is relatively restrained. And the pace of the releases is also rather leisurely. The Hypnôse Homme series was introduced in 2007 and something new is not in sight. Since one is with the women's fragrances, in particular the "La Vie Est Belle" series much more publication joyful. Julia Roberts: An actress with roles in era-defining movies such as Pretty Woman, she is the face of the bestselling La Vie Est Belle fragrance.

The fresh notes in this blend tame the warmer, spicy oriental tones, lending this scent a great deal of versatility. While traditional orientals are considered winter and evening wear, the freshness lightens the impression, making this option suitable for warmer weather also. Bergamot, cardamom, mandarin and mint are among the top of this particular parfum. These are replaced by a middle note of lavender. The journey summits with a base of amber, musk and patchouli. (Patchouli, Pogostemon cablin, is a flowering plant closely related to mint. However, its smell is very strong and earthy.) Lancôme Fragrances: Price UK Lancome has worked with some of the most established perfumers in the world, as well as several illustrious models and actresses. Here are just a few well-known faces of the Lancome brand. Perfumers In 1935, a successful businessman named Armand Petitjean opened a small boutique intending to sell fragrances and other beauty products. He named it Lancome after an ancient castle, Le Chateau de Lancome, which had inspired him for years. This castle and its beautiful ruins would have an even larger impact on Lancome in the years to come. The wild roses that grew around the ruins inspired many of Lancome’s most famous fragrances, as well as its logo and branding. A Timeline of Major Events in Lancome’s History Hypnôse Homme by Lancôme, released in 2007, is an Eau de Toilette designed primarily for men. With its prominent sweet and spicy notes, this fragrance brings an oriental touch to your collection, adding warmth and depth to the overall scent profile. True hymns of praise I read here and also the list of ingredients without woods, leather and flowers sounds interesting for me. There are certainly more experienced noses here than mine, but the lavender I know from my terrace smells different. And by that I mean completely different! Maybe I have less imagination than most of my fellow commentators!? ;-)Woody: These perfumes smell like woods and forests. Common woody notes include sandalwood, vetiver, and patchouli. Fans of woody scents will like these Lancome perfumes:

I think hypnosis is a good way out for days when you don't want to be so attractive, or in the case of Le Male want to come across as bold, but a little more confident, and more inconspicuous, mysterious, - but still want to wear about this scent DNA! Lancôme Paris is a French cosmetics company launched by Armand Petitjean, a former Coty employee, in 1935. The company's name was inspired by the ruins of a castle, Le Château de Lancosme, and the brand's rose symbol was inspired by the roses that surround it. Eau de parfums have a large concentration of perfume oil versus other ingredients, typically fifteen to twenty percent. This means they have stronger sillage and longer longevity than Eau de toilettes. Lancome Eau de parfums include: As the fragrance develops, the heart of the perfume reveals itself with the soothing and calming aroma of lavender. This floral note softens the spicy-sweet opening and contributes to the overall oriental character of Hypnôse Homme.

I don't want to deny this fragrance its class, I would probably even smell it out among umpteen others. But I'll make it short: "Hypnosis" is not my case! I actually want the scent to please me, but it doesn't get there, not even after an hour. Pretty pompous, albeit softly appearing, quite intrusive and with a strict undertone in my nose provided ... and cursedly sweet, even without vanilla, cinnamon or tonka bean. Sounds weird, but it is! We recommend Eau de toilettes if you’re sensitive to smells or spend a lot of time around people. If you like stronger smells and aren’t bothered by heavy perfumes, try an Eau de parfum. Layering the perfume with Lancome For pragmatists or people with a collection of < 10 perfumes, this is an outdated, mid-range, designer fragrance, and there are just so many more modern and better workhorses out there. The better perform, more pleasing, easier to wear. Emma Watson: Most famous for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film adaptations, she is the face of the Tresor Midnight Rose perfume. Sophia Grojsman: An American Society of Perfume’s Lifetime Achievement award winner, and the creator of the original Tresor fragrance.

The first fragrances from Lancôme in 1935 are womens' scents Tendre Nuit, Bocages, Conquete, Kypre and Tropiques. Lancôme joined the L'Oreal family in 1964, after which many of their classic and best-loved fragrances were produced, including Climat, Magie Noire and Tresor. But although we already have a lot of overlap here, hypnosis is very independent. He could already be a child of both in an abstract way... But it's a little less sweet, less sweet. Like a green Le Male, without the vanilla cloud.Fresh: These perfumes smell like citrus and/or herbs. Typical fresh notes include bergamot, lemon, and rosemary. Fans of fresh scents will like Lancome perfumes such as: In this phase, Hypnôse Homme acts almost as strong as a concentrate, ggfs. already a little overdone as the flacon. Here, the content alternates between light fruitiness and tart spicy notes that go shallowly into the synthetic. In the base notes, the warmth of amber is the most dominant scent, lending the perfume a rich and resinous undertone. This is balanced by the animalic and slightly powdery aroma of musk, which adds depth to the overall composition. Patchouli makes a subtle appearance in the base, contributing a touch of earthiness and woody character to the fragrance. By the way, there is another EdT, which I think is very similar to Hypnosis: "Horizon Man" by Esprit. I matched it from memory, but verified it with perfume. Largest note: Lavender. After years of struggle, Lancome establishes a perfume production plant, called the “Versailles de la Parfumerie,” in Chevilly Larue, France.
