Saturday 9th November The Soapgirls Plus SupportShades of IndigoArtemisHunting HeartsDoors 7.30pm til 10.30pmTHE SOAPGIRLSArmed with unforgettable melodies and catchy choruses, The SoapGirls energy, rawness and authenticity live, has earned a formidable reputation. Performing internationally and continuously since 2015, these fearless French born sisters Millie and Mie, have slayed critics and earned a global dedicated group of followers known as the ‘The SoapSuds’, some of who follow the band across the UK and Europe. The SoapGirls are society’s rejects and their punk credentials were rubber stamped by scintillating performances at many festivals including the legendary Rebellion Festival and Camden Rocks Festival last year and such was their success that they have inevitably been asked to perform on the main stage 2019.The SoapGirls write outsider anthems that are androgynous, audacious and straight from the heart. Following the release of their album Society’s Rejects, features on the band have appeared in Classic Rock, The Mirror and Vive Le Rock, while their last two singles were played on BBC Radio and play listed by Planet Rock Radio. as well as various other stations.“If being controversial means being consummate professionals, playing great original songs to an appreciative audience and treating everyone with respect then The Soap Girls must be at the front of the pack.” – Devolution MagazineSHADES OF INDIGOEstablished early 2016 we are a 4 piece band with no hidden agendas. As individuals we have a very wide variety of influences but as a collective we have a very much rounded style which comes through in the style of play. We are on a journey of learning to discover that ultimate album and we invite you to be part of that journey and feel involved with the band. Of those who already follow us they have already enjoyed the live show(s) and have given us awesome (and honest) feedback thus far. We do not hide from external ideas and suggestions as we find it helps us as a band to try different things and constantly put ourselves on the learning curve. Other projects would now list a number of bands who they feel they sound like, and in fact we would normally do the same. However coming from an era of mix tapes, vinyl and CDs we know the importance of just listening to a band and making up your own opinions. Therefore we invite you to do the same, go on a whim and have a listen. You have got this far of visiting us online so why not now have a listen to a track or 2 and start your journey with us and we hope you stay on the quest and enjoy the ride.ARTEMISNo... our name is not ‘We Are Artemis’, we just love to say it! We’re a four-piece all girl alternative rock band based in Southampton. Starting in February 2019, Artemis have smashed the new music scene with multiple gigs throughout Southampton and London. Ranging from supporting other great bands, helping out at charity events to headlining a show in London - The Beehive. The band consists of Yianna, the tiny lead singer with a voice so powerful that all are blown away. Frankie, our shredding lead guitarist who blesses us with some sweet backing vocals. Hannah, the bassist who will always give you something to bounce to. And Fenella, the drummer....you’re gonna need ear plugs.Artemis are unsigned and motivated to make the world hear what they have to say. Nothing is going to stop these girls.
