About this deal

Remember to cover the holes and replace the grass sections to prevent erosion and injury to animals or other people. What Makes The XP Deus 2 Metal Detector A Good Buy?

The best frequencies for valuables like gold, silver, and palladium items are between 30 and 88. XP Deus 2 – First Test On A Lake Beach Busy lake beaches are always a great place to take a metal detector for a day of treasure hunting. It’s even better when you have a snorkeling kit and some fins to search the shallow waters for items. XP Deus II allows the treasure hunter to use any of the 49 single frequencies, separately. This means that the treasure hunter can adjust their settings to specific location, environment, depth, level of mineralization, or type of target, and focus on these specifications only. Such a narrow search removes the distractions created by other types of targets, and makes tuning of the metal detector very focused. Remote Control Additionally, we strongly recommend watching the tutorial video below titled "Update Procedure" to guide you through the update process. If you have huge beaches or fields that stretch for miles, hard to beat a steveg balanced Equinox with 15x12 coil. I don’t see a Deus replacing this….

XP Deus II Metal Detector Overview

Wireless digital radio link between the coil, the remote control, and the headphones (+ the optional wireless pinpointer MI-6) The XP Deus and The XP Deus II use what XP calls “Reactivity” which is also equivalent to the “Recovery Speed” on the Minelab Equinox. Does the XP Deus II have a faster recovery speed than the Equinox? Early tests and videos of side by side comparisons are showing that the Deus II has the advantage. The XP Deus has always been a really fast metal detector and it appears that XP has definitely improved what was already a very fast machine. Their proprietary use of Fast Multi-Frequency (FMF) appears to be giving them an edge over the Equinox. XP Deus Reactivity Chart Reactivity Number If you follow my recommendations above, I guarantee the Deus II will start making sense and you will cut your learning time in half. The Deus II is a very powerful and capable metal detector. The more you use it the more you are going to like it. Don’t Believe Everything You Read About The Deus II. The thing is, XP is not just claiming 3 M waterproof (I call this dunk rated) like Equinox and, now, Legend. They have designed it to be DIVE rated up to 60+feet (20 M) AND are standing behind that with a 5 year warranty (vice 3 for Nox and Legend). They have also put A LOT of thought into this design aspect apparently with purpose-built, interchangeable dive grade vs. sea level sealing plugs and an easy clip on antenna design and purpose-built wired bone phones for underwater usage. Even if you only need it to be simply dunk proof, you have the confidence in knowing that it is designed to be much more robust than that vs. Equinox, Legend, etc. Of course, you are paying top dollar for that enhanced build quality and watertight integrity.

One of the ways to eliminate trash is by adjusting the iron bias. The best program settings for a forest would be ‘PARK,’ ‘DEUS MONO,’ or ‘GOLD FIELD.’ These three programs are designed to grab specific signals at depth and close to the surface. Fast Multi Frequency is an enhanced variation of the Multi Frequency technology that includes faster Recovery speed. The FMF allows the metal detector to scan the location using all available frequencies at the same time. This way, the metal detector works on its peak efficiency, reaching to different types of targets on different depths, and showing results faster. FMF technology not only increases the speed of metal detecting as such, and increases the efficiency of search showing all potential targets possible, it also provides as much information about each potential target as possible. FMF enables the search on any type of location, giving way broader opportunities for the user. Single Frequencies Overall, the XP Deus 2 did what is expected from such an advanced machine, and this is what was found:There are no messy cables that can get snagged or tangled in branches or shrubs. Instead, the XP Deus 2 is easy to clean and store away. This is one item that should go with you everywhere. The possible discoveries are limitless. But this is where the XP Deus 2 excels. First, switch on the XP Deus 2 by putting the coil onto the sand and pressing the power button. The LED will start up, and now you can adjust the settings. Considering that the XP Deus 2 is a fully wireless, waterproof metal detector, it is a great first impression. Final Thoughts: I'm with the others who will take a "wait and see" approach. But, given my past experience with XP engineering, I have no doubt the Deus II will be a very capable salt water beach detector. Will it generally outperform the Minelabs? TBD. Will it be found that XP pinched pennies on their build quality? I say no. It will be a well built unit. Will it be more comfortable to use than the Minelabs? Yes. Will it be more complex in its settings options than the Minelabs? Yes. Will it's overall performance justify the higher price tag compared to the current EQX? TBD but that will be determined solely by and in the eye of the beholder as the saying goes.
