About this deal

The wand can be detached and used with an existing tap, or the bottler complete with tap can be used in a drilled bucket or fermenter. Brewingathome supplies a huge range of homebrew beer kits, wine kits and brewing accessories, and is a completely independent online supplier, not connected in any way with larger commercial enterprises. If you fill your bottles right to the top, when you remove the wand it leaves perfect spacing for your Cork, or head room for Secondery Fermentation in Beer bottles ect.

Whilst we endeavour to make sure that glass bottles are packed as well as possible we cannot send out replacement for any breakages. As soon as you remove the bottle the flow stops thus preventing you from over filling the container. On the end of the pipe is a valve, that when pressed against the bottom of the bottle allows the wine, beer, lager or cider to flow. The Little Bottler bottling stick fits into a dispensing tap with a narrow nose which can be used as usual. Remember to check out our Brewing Help section for recipes, blogs and more info on making the best homebrew. If you do this, you will need to prime each bottle separately and will also need to extend the maturation period as there will be less yeast in each bottle to carry out the secondary fermentation that provides the carbonation.Using this is a doddle, it’s easy to use with one hand, quick to turn off so you don’t over fill the bottles and just makes the whole job so much quicker and cleaner. Brewbitz has been supplying homebrew equipment and ingredients to homebrewers around the UK since 2012.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Just trying to fill bottles straight form the tap is a messy and slow nightmare as you can’t go too fast as air rushing out the bottle blows out some of the liquid your trying to put in!

The Little Bottler features a valve in the bottom of the tube which starts the flow of beer when depressed and stops it when the bottle is lowered, meaning that you don't need to control the flow by means of the tap. If this happens, we will contact you to advise when it will next be available, or to offer a substitute product or refund. The Little Bottler consists of a dispensing tap which can be used as usual, plus a detachable filling tube. If it still cannot be located contact us on 01323 730091 (Mon-Thursday) and we will get that investigated. All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

Please do not throw away any broken goods until we have confirmed it is ok to do so as sometimes the couriers ask for the goods as part of their investigations. Simply turn on the lever tap, insert the tube fully into your bottle, when the valve hits the bottom of the bottle the brew flows, when the bottle is removed the flow stops. The transfer pipe is placed inside your sterilised bottle and a needle valve at the bottom of the pipe allows you to transfer your home made beer or wine with the minimum of disruption. The tap is fitted to your fermentation vessel and the removable transfer pipe is attached when you are ready to bottle. The only thing that stops the five star is the fact that you need to hold the bottle at the half way point of the trigger or there is a very weak and slow flow. Using this method works quite well because it spreads both the priming sugar and the yeast more evenly throughout the brew and can help to produce more consistent conditioning across the whole of the batch. The only exception to this is the tape we use which is made from PVC and needs to be thrown in the normal waste. A pre-drilled 25 ltr brewing bin, complete with a little bottler, which can be used as a bottling bin when making beer or 30 bottle wine kits.
