I would score this one a credible 8.5 on the scale. Next pipe is "The Baskerville"– I have to admit a soft spot for this one, as it was my first ever Peterson pipe. To me it had it all, the looks, plus charisma and was a large bent. A clencher's delight. It is a full bent and is Peterson shape XL12. I would score this one at 7.5. Certainly Watson liked to smoke (usually he smoked Arcadia mixture, which has fluffy white ash according to Holmes, or a brand named Ship’s), and sometimes he joined Holmes for a cigar, but we cannot say he was a heavy smoker. However his friend was a real addict, who used his knowledge of ashes, cigarette and cigar ends while solving mysteries. In The Sign of Four he tells the doctor: Vape pipes appeal to a specific type of smoker or vaper, but, at the same time, they have broad appeal. Regular tobacco or marijuana pipes are unique in and of themselves, as only a few people use them. These same people – who enjoy using combustion pipes– should be the ones most interested in the electronic versions.

Fourth pipe is "The Deerstalker"– a quarter bent bulldog, Peterson shape XL14. To my mind this shape just oozes classic Peterson charisma and elegance. It is a favourite shape, again one that I find very tactile and a wonderful smoker. I would score this one an 8.0. So, long-time vapers who want to add a special vape pipe to their collection – one that does not resemble a typical e-cig or mod – can also get a vape pipe mod. They function the same way as other e-cigs and box mods, with their batteries, refillable tanks, and replaceable coils. The experience of vaping an vape pipe can taste the same as smoking the real thing. But only if you choose tobacco flavor.
