Oliver James Lomax - Peterloo and other poems - Working Class Movement Library - Salford

Oliver is a 35 year old poet from Bolton, who has recently been working with WCML to respond and write poems about the Peterloo Massacre. He will perform these poems alongside new work from his next collection. His first book '18 Poems an illustrated first collection' (with Dan Llewellyn Hall) was published in 2017 by Dylan's Salubrious House Swansea which was launched at The Laugharne Weekend. Since then he has been poet in residence at the Dylan Thomas Birthplace and poet in residence with Dylans Book Bus at Green Man, Latitude festival and The Good Life Experience festivals. Come along from 7pm and browse some of the Library's rich collections relating to Peterloo.
