About this deal

I see so many people posting comments on various forums and Facebook groups that all they seem to be find with Deus II is junk. Let me be clear about Deus II, you will dig your fair share of junk targets ( at first). You have to dig a fair share of these junk targets to get your ears tuned into what is junk and what isn’t. There are slight differences in the tones that you have to learn and listen for. The XY screen can help you learn those differences by presenting a visual but the XY display isn’t 100% full proof. Your hearing is what will help you make that decision to dig a target or not. The image below is a result of 2 hunts where I dug every target to understand what I was up against in the beginning. Results of 2 hunts where I dug just about everything The second main advantage is the target ID accuracy at depth. Although the Deus 1 is not known for its extreme depth, we feel that XP will have made up for this with their FMF in the DEUS 2 metal detector. It’s likely that modes such as “DEEP HC” (short for “Deep Highly Conductive”) will be incredible for detecting deep copper and silver coins. At Detect-Ed we are super keen to try this mode in search of some deep pre-decimal Australian coins!

Uses FMF up to 40kHz – uses low and high frequencies. Very efficient, works well in mineralized and trashy ground when searching for small targets. Reactivity is set at 2.5 Uses Fast Multi Frequency (FMF) up to 40kHz – uses low and high frequencies. It’s great for all around use and good for beginners and seasoned experts. Better confidence on deep targets.I took a look at some of the key features of both metal detectors and placed them side by side in the table below for comparison. However, performance will be the ultimate factor in determining which metal detector is better. Unbiased performance tests are starting to show up on YouTube for the XP Deus II. As we mentioned earlier, the DEUS 2 has a veritable buffet of pre-set modes, 12 to be exact which XP claims will suit “all terrain in all conditions”. The first main advantage of the Deus 2’s FMF technology is the ability to detect through salt water at depth! The first Deus' single frequency tech wasn't well suited to salt water detection but with FMF we can already see in some initial testing videos that the Deus II has excellent salt water performance. Choose the Fast and simultaneous Multi-Frequency programs or between 49 single frequencies from 4 to 45 kHz.

Audio headphones developed and manufactured by XP in France, designed specifically to meet detecting requirements: no audio latency, automatic On/Off, sophisticated processor allowing the user to configure from the remote control. If you follow my recommendations above, I guarantee the Deus II will start making sense and you will cut your learning time in half. The Deus II is a very powerful and capable metal detector. The more you use it the more you are going to like it. Don’t Believe Everything You Read About The Deus II. Uses FMF up to 14kHz -Stands for Deep High Conductor. Good for coins, coins spills i.e. high conductor targets. In our honest opinion, the XP Deus 2 will fill a section of the market that no other metal detector currently does, a super high end “all rounder” with true gold prospecting, coin hunting and diving! It will very interesting to see how it compares to the highly anticipated Nokta Makro Legend! Currently, there are no after market search coils available for the XP Deus II. I don’t expect to see any after market coils come on to the market for the Deus II. The original Deus never saw any after market coils developed. Most of XP’s technology is built into their search coils and this is a feature exclusive owned by XP. Which After Market Search Coils are Available for The Minelab Equinox?

A new revolution!

Connect your XP MI-6pinpointer (not included) directly up to your Deus II for a fully seamless, wireless experience. If you plan to take the DEUS 2 diving there are wired Bone Conduction headphones available! These waterproof headphones will no doubt give great sound clarity underwater to the diver where other headphones are less clear. Following in the footsteps of the DEUS 1, the new Deus 2 will be completely wire free! The coil connects wirelessly to the DEUS 2 remote control and the controller connects wirelessly to the headphones. General, Sensitive, Sensi FT, Fast, Park, Deep HC, DEUS Mono, Gold Field, Relic, Diving, Beach, Beach Sens Audio headphones developed and manufactured by XP in France, designed specifically to meet de¬tecting requirements: no audio latency, automatic On/Off, sophisticated processor allowing the user to configure from the remote control.

The Deus II comes fully loaded with new features and tools that can help anyone new or experienced find coins, jewelry, relics and more. No matter what you get out of this article, the facts are the facts. Both the Deus II and the Equinox are excellent metal detectors and while some of you will never part with your Minelab, Garrett, XP, Fisher, etc. machines, there will be others who may like something in one of these metal detectors that might draw them into trying something new. Audio Response, Iron volume, Multi Tones, Notch, Reactivity, Threshold with Audio frequency adjustable + many expert functions Out of the box the DEUS 2 is fully waterproof but there are a few things you’ll need to know before diving with it. Firstly, there are plugs that seal the DEUS two which need to be swapped out depending on if you are underwater or if you are hunting on land. https://youtu.be/wR819z5c2nA Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: XP Deus II for Beginners Lesson 7: How-to Pair and Unpair the MI6 Pin-pointer. This article will compare the most common features of both the XP Deus II and the Minelab Equinox 800. How Does The Deus II Compare to the Equinox? Based on numerous tests that are now available on YouTube posted by several channels, the XP Deus II is edging out the Equinox in just about every test I’ve seen. In some cases the depth the Deus II is getting is really impressive while maintaining a good target ID at depth. If you are an original Deus owner, you will appreciate better target ID at depth with the Deus II. This was something the original Deus struggled with. Can You Eliminate Bottle Caps With The XP Deus II and Equinox? Remote control that can be unclipped from the handle and positioned in an armband or on the belt for extreme lightness. The DEUS 2 comes standard with a highly durable fully waterproof housing rated to an unbelievably 20m deep underwater! The company markets the DEUS 2 not only as a land detector but also a diving detector and they’ve even made a dedicated “DIVE” mode which will work well in salt water environments! Uses 1 (Mono) frequency adjusts from 4 to 45kHz. Works in a single frequency. Good for EMI rejection, Use when in conditions where FMF is not suitable due to interference etc. Since the release of the DEUS in 2010, XP has now invented the world's first fully wireless simultaneous multi-frequencymetal detector...DeusII. The new DEUS 2 / II with FMF technology will perform well on land or in the sea, it will introduceyou to a new metal detecting exploring dimension, a deep, fast, super lightweight, fully waterproof to 20m, and a fully wireless metal detector!
