The V11 is a clear upgrade, however, due to the strong suction, improved floorhead, LCD screen, and smart suction capabilities. It’s worth noting that the Soft Roller can’t take advantage of the V11’s automatic suction adjustment though. Just stumbled on your review and as a first foray into the unknown world of Dyson vacuum cleaners, it’s an absolute gem! So if that screen isn’t important to you then you should absolutely get the V11 Animal and save the money.Dyson V10 Animal– The basic version with the direct-drive cleaning head, mini motorised tool, and various non-motorised tools. We are also considering just getting the V10 instead since I’ve seen that you like that best for hardwood. All Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners can be used as a handheld by detaching the main tube, and the V11 is no exception. Looks to me like similar suction, a 2nd battery with the S12, both with a good list of accessories and the pedigree of Dyson versus a newer competitor.

I’ve noticed from your reviews that the main disadvantage of V10 is the design to empty the dust bin–not too big a problem perhaps? The V11 did well but didn't match the performance of the top products, which largely contributes to it failing to claim an award. Like I said, there wasn’t a huge difference in total debris cleaned, but it feels necessary to include this detail. The only difference between the Dyson V11 Absolute and V11 Torque is that the former includes a soft roller brush.as real users, posing a threat to a site’s security, so the site sometimes runs random security checks. The V11 is better at cleaning carpets though, due to the improved primary floorhead and greater suction.
