One of the great things about the LG Gram is that I was able to put Ubuntu on the machine, which I prefer to mac os, for coding. It seems to work well although like a lot of laptops battery life seems worse for linux. That's not the manufacturers fault just less polished drivers etc I guess. But that's pretty universal for all laptops.
