I started reading her about 10 months ago The Fantasy land series being my first, The Burg, Unfinished Hero…n so many more to go.

Marla: The Most Awesome Books would be “The Fae Chronicles” by Amelia Hutchins,,,,Fighting Destiny and Taunting Destiny,,,,are books that everyone should read,,,,Paranormal to the extreme,,,,Absolutely love these books! It closely models the 3D fighting game standard set by Sega's Virtua Fighter, but integrates a unique point scoring system. She complaints to her mom that her brother is treating her like a teenager while behaving like a spoilt one and all he did was offer her protection in a possible war zone, Her reasoning for not accepting her mate is also thin and frankly I found the challenge concept weird.

Then I got wiped out and overwhelmed, so I went back to good old romances… THEN came 50 Shades and well, it’s been downhill since then…. Oh—did I mention that he is absolutely sex-on-a-stick gorgeous and he makes me feel things that I never ever wanted to feel for a Fae. I'm not a huge fan of Syn (she was little bit too blonde and beautiful) but her personality complimented Ryder's perfectly. But then you throw in some minor plot holes, some major characterization inconsistencies, some personality vs. Couple of problems in the way – I hate the Fae and the Prince of the Dark Fae is bound and determined that I work for him.

The Fae had come out to the humans about 30 years prior and most were celebrities in our world, their beauty and grace far exceeding that of the humans. Love is more than just feeling something, it’s the connection of two souls that intertwine and cannot be without the other. This apparently is not rape because she "chooses" him rather than choosing to fight off countless others who would come after her and most likely rape her otherwise. Dan Hsu of Electronic Gaming Monthly criticized the use of just two attack buttons for all the moves, saying this tends to reduce the game to a button-mashing contest. Ryder is equally preoccupied and infatuated by Synthia, sensing her hatred for his persuasion, he sees her denial as a challenge.

Adam and I are both going through identity crises of epic proportions as we Transition from who we were, and discover who we were meant to be. If any of these things happen, do not seek medical attention—get the next book in the series and enjoy the ride! Her spunky “take no prisoners attitude” made her one of the strongest heroines I have ever met and Ryder is certainly her perfect match.

Syn is incredibly stubborn and hard-willed, something she has in common with Ryder, but I would expect nothing less from a woman who has had a hard life and was raised from loss and death. Even though she realises Ryder has secrets and there is much more to this agreement than she first thought, she still forsakes all reason.But I think that is where the problem lies, I think I need to accept that he isn’t human, that his species are vastly different and so probably was his upbringing.
