But the more time he spends with Chiharu, Wataru realizes he may not only be as unaffected by Chiharu's confession as he claimed to be, but those feels may also be mutual. I’ve been loving the office romances or entertainment industry stories, and all the ways people can meet in Japan. La ambientación está tan bien lograda que cada página te saca de tu sillón y te planta en cualquier ciudad costera con buen clima.

My Summer of You Volume 1: The Summer of You is created, written, and features art by mangaka Nagisa Furuya. The manga truly chronicles the aftermath of Saeki’s confession and what it does to their friendship.High schoolers are discovering parts of themselves, their identities, who they want to be within a four year span. this was originally going to be four stars for me, but the final chapter had me on a chokehold from all the emotions i didn't expect to feel in a manga with only 5 chapters that i couldn't help but give it five stars overall. Creo que es de esos mangas que le recomendas a todo el mundo sin decirles realmente que les van a romper el corazón en pedacitos.

It is a bit disturbing to think that BL may do this especially well because the characters are still inhabiting a largely homophobic world that makes them feel like they can't express their attraction to each other in public, or to themselves for that matter, but hopefully that piece of the equation will change sooner than later. As the two travel together and experience moments of becoming closer through their love of film, Wataru stops being unbothered. Their first memorable summer was in high school, followed by their first summer together as college students. A art was pretty good too but unfortunately this is not the type that will stay with you for a while though.

Now back from his study abroad program, Chiharu is ecstatic to see Wataru for the first time in two months, and Wataru’s thankful that they’ll have more time to spend with each other, without also having to balance work and school.

i love how seeing the person who likes you with someone else can cause you to realize that, maybe, you might reciprocate those feelings back?Even after they start dating, he is super respectful, knows what a 'no' is (or even when the other doesn't say no, he reads Wataru's facial expressions and stops if he sees he's uncomfortable). There is something about the way high school romance is written through the lens of Japanese story tellers that brings out a sense of longing and nostalgia for me. I’ve walked by my shelf so many times and have stopped to pick up and reread the beach scene over and over.

Their first memorable summer was in high school, followed by their first summer together as college students… Now, Wataru and Chiharu are in their second year of college, and the two boys can’t wait to spend another summer together. It included this cute box for 7FATES: Chakho, a cute tote, photo cards, a mirror, and a preview to Dark Moon: The Blood Altar and The Star Seekers! During summer break they embark on various day trips to see various filming locations from some of their favourite films. That certainly means that he had plenty of time to come to terms with how he felt, which isn't the case for Wataru.Set on maintaining their friendship, the two remain by each others’ side, all to fulfill one request. It's not tragic, which is nice, and certainly not irreparable either, but it does force Wataru to more fully confront his own emotions and to realize that while Saeki may have said he didn't expect anything to come of his crush, Wataru himself now wants their relationship to change. This is the only manga that made me cry like a baby, I'm writing this during my class and I'm crying just remembering how great it was. I think a lot of folks who wring their hands about The State Of Pokémon™ would be better off just realizing that they outgrew Pokémon and stop making that GAME FREAK's fault. So when Saeki suggests going on a pilgrimage of sorts in the summer vacation, visiting all the locations featuring in his favourite film, The Beach in Broad Daylight, Wataru doesn’t hesitate to agree.
