This adapter plate from Bialetti is specially designed for induction hobs, so that your aluminium moka coffee maker can also work on an induction hob.

This induction plate adapter from “Bialetti” enables you to use aluminum moka pots and other cookware that isn’t normally suited to induction plates on hobs of this kind. The Moka pots we offer are perfect for an induction hotplate as they are made out of highest quality stainless steel. We bring together over 350 brands and 8,000 references: a wide range of manual espresso coffee maker, espresso glasses, slow coffee makers, manual coffee grinders, the best teapots or insulated mugs.This way, it will need less energy to heat up, and as a Moka pot's bottom is not that wide, it will be more efficient for making coffee.

Water will still heat up a little slower, but it will take around half the time it would in a frying pan. Please note that you must not leave the adapter plate on the heated cooktop without a pot or pan standing on top of it because it is possible that an intense heat develops, which would damage your adapter as well as your cooktop.
