This story was the only one I actually planned to read from this series, only because I wanted to see if this author can handle the marriage in crisis trope.i’ll probably give this series one more chance and read the next book, but i learned my lesson and i won’t have high expectations. I want to cry because I had so many expectations from this book after their first scene in King of Wrath, but this disappointed me in the worst ways!

King of Wrath disappointed me, King of Pride disappointed me, so the fact that i was 100% sure i was going to love King of Greed is actually laughable. Look, I know there shouldn't be a comparison between Alex's groveling and Dom's groveling because they're two different situations, but Alex groveled for a year. But what she didn’t count on was his refusal to let her go…or for him to fight for their marriage, no matter what it takes.
