Killer Klowns from Outer Space is presented on Blu-ray courtesy of Arrow Video with an AVC encoded 1080p transfer in 1. This includes VHS releases from Media Home Entertainment and MGM, a Laserdisc from Image Entertainment, a special edition DVD from MGM, and a Blu-ray version of that MGM special edition. talking about his involvement and taking a closer look at the final sequence with the "Klownzilla" monster.

If your movie/TV show is in desperate need of practical effects, stop-motion animation, and/or unusual props – all with a quirky edge and real personality – you might want to contact the Chiodo Brothers.Some people might even be a little put off by it; but comparing it to the previous editions, it's clear the older discs are only less grainy by virtue of smudging it away. Well, Arrow is going to try their best to convince you, beginning with a brand new 4K restoration, taken from the original camera negative. I mean, giving MGM the benefit of the doubt, that was probably due to older scans being less able to pick the finery out than an attempt to scrub the grain away at the expense of detail. Unfortunately, the Chiodos’ sense of humour is a bit stiff and their version of camp is muddled by awkward pacing and bland performances.

I'd imagine that most folks who have read this far are pretty big fans already, but Killer Klowns is still accessible even if you're three decades late to the party.
