About this deal

We see the tropes of loud and fast-beating hearts, nervousness at confessing love, and the talk of futures together.

I find this important because in most series I’ve read–such as Wotakoi: Love is Hrad for Otaku and Skullfaced-bookseller Honda-San–BL is almost exclusively seen as something read by heterosexual women.Since I knew that the plot was about an aroace woman and a gay mans pretend marriage to fit in with society, I was worried they were going to gain romantic feelings for each other, but luckily it doesn't seem to be going in that direction. for on October 27, 2022 and was legally recognized as on November 4th, 2022 at a court proceeding in a room with too-hard pew-like benches and dozens of trans people just like me, seeking solace in an untainted name of their choosing. There is something of a break in my birth name and the name I chose: Mercedez Clewis is a name attached to trauma, to a lot of grief and pain and PTSD that I’m still untangling.

Plot Summary: Yuriko, an asexual woman, agrees to take a husband to satisfy her parents—which is how she finds herself tying the knot with Gakurouta, a gay man in love with his childhood friend with his own complicated family circumstances. After all, ace/aromantic people, the A in LGBTQIA+, are still greatly underrepresented in contemporary fiction. The introduction of a new character – Yuriko’s male friend, Momo – also adds to the different viewpoints and perspectives on the main couple’s relationship. What I love about this is that this scene appears in the first chapter and then again almost 100 pages later. While I have some issues with this book, like how the initial definition of "asexual" is actually the definition of "aromantic" and the kind of fetishy way Yuriko views her gay husband's love for his straight childhood friend, it makes up for it by absolutely getting it right when it comes to how being aro/ace in an allosexual world can make you feel like you're broken and how all of the gossipy comments, snide remarks, and well-meaning statements about "oh, you just haven't met the right person yet" can cut you like a blade.I felt like there was more depth and sensitivity to the way Yuriko was written than the way Gakurouta was written, and I wasn't entirely comfortable with the way Yuriko hovered around Sousuke and Gakurouta like she was witness to some kind of lovely BL tragedy.

Changing my name in our legal system hasn’t gotten rid of that: my body is a tapestry of thirty years of forcing myself to never question my lifelong detachment from femininity, to try to be a better daughter when I wanted to be something closer to a son while never being male, to try to hide my struggles with seeing too much, experiencing too much, being forced to be too much. Overall a very good quality service from this seller and I would not hesitate to recommend this seller. At Anime NYC 2023, Anime News Network had the opportunity to sit down with the voice actor Kazuki Ura, the voice of BLUELOCK's main protagonist Isagi, and Ryoya Arisawa, the producer of the hit sports anime BLUELOCK. Then, you knew me as Meru Clewis, a break from the sharp femininity of my name as I publicly announced my transition on Okazu during Pride Month 2022. Although they will never develop romantic feelings for one another, their mutual understanding seems to bring them together in a completely different way than they ever thought possible. I understand this is an unfortunately common thing to happen, but it kind of bothers me that in a series meant to discuss sexuality and romantic attraction it doesn't try to differentiate between asexuality and aromance.
