It's way too gruesome, we're not squeamish at all but I just don't think it's necessary for my 7 year old to be reading about boiling people alive and serial killers (illustrated with what is clearly a bloody head in a sack). That level of play was fine for the 6 year old, but any games which become favourites usually include further layers of challenge for older children and adults which is very much lacking here.
