Works as its supposed to do, rather dissapoinitng that the box states that it works with google home but doesn't support wifi control so google home cant connect with this version of the led strip. I also managed to pair the M1 to Samsung SmartThings from Apple Home, which is the first time I’ve successfully paired a Matter device to SmartThings from another platform. Theonly downside is the "white" colour, you can really tell that the strip tries to make a white colour but you can still see all the coulours that the strip turns on to try to make a white coulour. But it’s a shame that Matter and/or the Matter platforms haven’t figured out a way for us to use some of the best things about smart, color-changing lighting in this shiny new smart home standard. I scanned the Matter QR code on the light strip with the Apple Home app on my iPhone, and it paired right away.

Both apps would also show the light as unresponsive for a few seconds before finally completing the command. They can also sync to music, or you can use Razer's Synapse 3 software to connect the panels to your existing RGB gaming setup. Clean any surface you intend to stick smart lighting on thoroughly and bear in mind that the adhesive can damage paintwork or wallpaper if you ever remove it. It’s important to note that once you set up a device in one Matter controller app, you have to use that same app to pair it to any subsequent platform.
