Kara is a very strong main character and even though she is morally gray, it’s certainly done in a way where you can understand why she does what she does. Finding Daisies takes the listener through the life stages of a girl who endures untold trauma and ultimately overcomes it. As someone who is very much catching up to childhood trauma, this book was incredibly healing and emotional for me to read.

I enjoyed the story telling with the Norse mythology and the only bad part about this book was that it ended! Finding Dotty encourages imagination and creativity in children of all ages, taking the everyday and breathing life into it! thank you to my dear and lovely friend lydia for not only introducing me to this poetry book, but introducing me to the world of jessica jocelyn and her wonderful words. I enjoyed taking this journey with you albeit emotionally but life is a collection of emotions and the author captured hers well.
