About this deal

The first probably three minutes of the film is repeated frame for frame a little more than half way through.

The backdrop of human existence is the fast paced, tecno-driven urban encounter of man and technology. Narrowing the stereo field and wiping off reverb/delays that are defining that room are a big help in getting to a healthier starting point before you start mixing for your own track’s need. I am writing this article on the 2nd February 2020 which, when written in figures, becomes a palindromic number i. also, my girlfriend informed me midway through production that geese don’t really quack as much as honk and that is my bad y’all. I wasn’t sure which, but I tried to help him out by finding some deeper meaning to attribute, rather than burst his bubble with anything other than a nod of agreement.

This may be a reference to Weird Al Yankovic's "BOB" where one of the lyrics include "Do Geese See God" as a part of the entire set of palindromes that make up the lyrics of that song.

But that's the point - you are supposed to feel uneasy repeating everything exactly, and getting nowhere new. Seeing the same footage again, I looked out for other details - the movie is full of cool details that others have pointed out. Now, in the hands of palindrome master William Irvine, combined with these witty and exquisitely drawn illustrations by Steven Guarnaccia, the result is a delightful mix of literary and absurdist humor. While a little confusing at first (I would have probably watched the movie a third time and wondered if there was anything else), I happened to spot the tip and then the sudden realization stole over me: the rose. But, again, the rat race metaphor is really very clever, and I didn't understand the rat metaphor (assuming I'm correct) until the film started its second cycle.

Awkward, the main character, represented the American dream with his nice clothes and TV, yet that did not mean he had everything he wanted.

This is a question that might be treated differently by a theologian, an ornithologist or someone under the influence of mind-altering substances, but a word-nerd’s answer might baffle the uninitiated. Normally that alone wouldn't be enough for me to rate a movie highly but for some reason I feel compelled to recommend this short on its style alone. But to set that up and then say -- "hey, we all need to slow down sometimes and smell the roses" is just plain bunk (not to mention cliché sentimental crap). A simple commentary on the life of a typical person in today's world, those who are running through life and not getting anywhere.

Big spoiler (for those still reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series), but this flick was a glimpse into the mind of Roland. Did anybody notice that the shoulder bag strap that the human/rat wears is labeled with the infinity sign? There's also a sense of responsible in that you're the one giving him a break, cutting into the cycle. Blair Underwood was excellent in conveying the frantic nature of the average joe's life in chasing the dream or hurrying to what comes next. If palindromes are not clever-clever enough for you, then you could check out ambigrams, or "inversions", a word or words that can be read in more than one way or from more than a single vantage point, such as both right side up and upside down. That is why Karma is so central to the film, because time well spent is, at least according to the film, maybe fleeting but more essential than most of the time spent in one's life. Another unique idea that I thought was presented very well was just the urgency all of us feel is required in life. Take the 10 minutes out of your life to check it out, its worth the watch, and if it seems repetitive at times. i built the song such that the chord progression of the first verse and first chorus mirror the second chorus and second verse.
