About this deal

Delilah Baker and Macon Saint, adversaries since childhood, have been forced back into each other’s orbit after a ten year gap. Their relationship is so skillfully written that the inner longing was evident even as the "banter" was decidedly antagonistic. I felt bad for him, if I'm honest, especially after finding out more about his relationship with his parents. Even as I found myself unable to put the book down, I was also deeply uncomfortable with the real life implications of a romance between these people with terrible boundaries.

i loved the beginning of this BEFORE the MCs got together cuz the slow burn, sexual tension, and banter was just *chef's kiss* but all in all this was just meh but in a good way. For complicated reasons that even they know don’t really make sense, Delilah and Macon choose to be forced into proximity with one another. He seemed so self-confident, so larger-than-life on the outside that no one bothered to look what's behind the facade. and the fact that the MCs have known each other since childhood and were always enemies, and 10 years later the H is now a famous actor and the h has to work for him as an assistant/chef to repay her sister's debts to the H?

I'm used to a lot of complexity from his author, or at least a lot of fun, and this feels very surface level and, if I'm being honest, a little tired. I lost count on how many times it was mentioned that Sam and Macon were high school sweethearts and dated each other through their childhood. Being her sister, I understand how she was taking her side, but also, how and why could you after everything? And the majority of their disagreements could have be resolved if they stopped lying to each other and stopped all the miscommunication. Michael Pollan, known for his best-selling nonfiction audio, including The Omnivores Dilemma and How to Change Your Mind, conceived and wrote Caffeine: How Caffeine Created the Modern World as an Audible Original.

No one on earth has ever annoyed her so much, so when her sister and Macon finally break up she’s thrilled she won’t have to be tormented by him anymore. All those years, from the very first, you always seemed to know exactly what made me tick, and I swore you could see my every weakness. In this controversial and exciting listen, Pollan explores caffeine’s power as the most-used drug in the world - and the only one we give to children (in soda pop) as a treat. However, her sister and he are not dating and she finds she's strangely attracted to him but she's petrified to trust him.

This was likely a case of “It’s not you, it’s me” as I was interested enough in wanting to see Delilah and Macron’s HEA, but I can’t say I was reverted in way that I normally am with Kristen’s novels. All in all it's a well written book, but since this is one of my favourite romance authors, I really expected more. Main Hi Kahaani Hoon”, an Audible Original is a weekly storytelling show of 20 episode from Audible, written-created-performed by Major Akhill Pratap; an ex-Army Officer popularly known as The Soldier and The Storyteller. Such as after Sam told Delilah the truth, he wanted to go up to her because she knew she would be crying and upset, but he knew she needed space too, so he gave it to her as he spoke with Sam. I expect nothing less than this sort of smartly written, masterfully told story from this author, and by the time I turned the last page, I wasn't even close to letting Delilah and Macon go.

I was hoping for some limits at least between them, but then the hero started thinking about how Sam was his "type" and how he used to be attracted to her: The women I hook up with are happy to take attention away from me and keep the spotlight on themselves. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself.
