It sucked me in from the very beginning and not one moment did I find myself not completely captivated by Ivy and Aiden’s story. This book deals with extremely sensitive topics such as self harm, and it deals with them extremely well in my opinion. Dare You To Hate Me is a Beautiful Childhood Friends to Lovers, Sports Romance about Friendship, Loyalty and facing one's past.

Ivy was the perfect main character because she symbolizes a very common person in our world today that no one wants to talk about.I loved his reaction, how he does what he needs to, to make sure she is safe just like he had been doing all her life. Towards the end of the book, I truly did appreciate her even though I never really fell in love with her. Celeste is a new adult and contemporary romance author that gives voices to raw, realistic characters with emotional storylines that tug on the heartstrings.

And of course there is plenty of steamy match-ups along with the raunchy language that goes along with a house full of jocks.Mainly the heroine overcoming her difficult past and really trying to figure out a life for herself.
