Anxiety shows up with different facets; her journal gives us all ways to put our own version into words so we can release what hurts and turn our hearts towards what heals. I haven’t kept a personal diary or journal since my first pregnancy 18 years ago but I will be using this book in 2021 to see if I can reduce my anxiety levels.
She believes, as many do, that following a journal plan can help people turn their anxious thoughts into empowering beliefs.
There are also lots and lots of practical tips and projects to put the child in control of how they tackle these thoughts and feels.
We got this book before school started to help my eldest to get into good habits so that she can learn tools to help her stay calm.This is the first time I have encountered Meera Lee Patel’s artwork and I have to admit that I have fallen in love with the soothing tones of muted water coloured quotes and illustrations.
