This tent has a really good head height and the time that we spent inside the spacious living area was very pleasant. Warm air can hold more moisture than cold air, as the temperature falls at night the more moisture is released into the air. The large front door also has an inner mesh panel which is perfect for when you want to let fresh air in whilst keeping the bugs out. The Octagon BlackOut retains all the features of the original eight sided tent, including full 360° views, together with ample living space and ingenious rigid hinged door, now also boasts being able to block up to 99% of daylight as well as climate control making it 5°C cooler during the day and 1°C warmer at night, ensuring a better sleep whatever time of the day. If a tent has a hydrostatic head of 3000mm it means that a 3 metre column of water can be placed on its surface before any drops will show through the underside of the fabric.
