About this deal

Sound engineers and professional bass players have known for years that high quality limiting and enhancement makes bass tracks pop in the mix. I had, however, maxed out the output from the Looper to provide a decently strong / loud input signal.

The Image is provided by Music Tribe IP Ltd on an 'as is' basis, without warranty of any kind, including non-infringement or ownership. And I’ll have to ‘fess I do like how much less pedal board real estate it’s taking up compared to the Cali 76 CB I’ve just moved on! You may not use the Image in any way that might prejudice the reputation of Music Tribe, or the distinctiveness, validity or goodwill of any of its brands. If we calibrate the Behringer Threshold 0 to 10 (= min to max) then with the Threshold set between 7 to 10 it had little impact on volume output (minimal limiting). While it does preserve the bass qualities of the signal that the CS gives away, it does not compress nor sustain as well. Most compressors are also "sustainers" too, meaning they bring up quieter notes (and also the 'noise floor' of the instrument or other electronics). Sweetwater's Sales Engineers are regarded as the most experienced and knowledgeable professionals in the music industry, with extensive music backgrounds and intense training on the latest products and technologies.

I just put the Limiter on my MS-60B through its paces, I now understand why you thought the Beheringer threshold control were backwards - it's certainly the opposite way around the Zoom which has maximum limiting when the Threshold is also set to maximum. I can't hear much difference when turning this knob, but when playing through an EQ plugin, it appears to add a high shelf starting around 2.You, are responsible for your use of the Image and hold Music Tribe IP Ltd free and harmless from any liability connected to your use of the Image.

And these are easily tweaked to take the pop out of bass slaps, take the attack off of keys a bit, or just even out tone. By its very nature, extreme compression tends to suck the high-end out of any signal, so we added a tone compensation circuit to the BLE100. The BLE400 compresses these different sound levels so the loud signals are matched by the softer sounds for a more balanced performance. of breach by you (during the term of this Agreement) of any of your obligations under the present Agreement.

Any "enhancement" provided by this control knob may be negated if your soundman/mixing engineer is running a high cut filter on the bass. The take away from that for me (and I hope I have drawn the correct conclusion from this, although I’ll readily admit to still being a novice in my grasp of the technicalities of Limiters) is that the Keeley has a LOT more headroom in its ability to deal with signal spikes than the very much cheaper Behringer and this is a case in point where quality (easily) won the day. By its very nature, extreme compression tends to suck the high end out of any signal, so we added a tone compensation circuit to the BLE400.

So, I got this, the VTone bass21 DI pedal, the BOD400 bass overdrive pedal, and the BEQ700 Bass Graphic Equalizer(stil figuring out this one) pedal; all by behringer. If the item is marked as Collection Only you can still reserve with a deposit using our reserve and collect facility at checkout or by contacting us. This dedicated Enhance control lets you dial in just the right amount of sparkle, without giving your bass that over-processed or brittle sound. The exception on secound to last was made to pump-up a T-Rex pedal with lower output and no level control. Setting the compression to max (∞ to 1), the Keeley managed to reduce the volume by the same amount as the Behringer with the Threshold at only -25 and then took things down to a pretty negligible volume by -50.This is a 2nd hand item and may not come with all originally included items and original accessories or software. both are wonderful, but the limiter enhancer feels more like a polishing tool compared to the compression sustainer being a grinding tool. The limiter pedal includes dedicated level, enhance, ratio and threshold controls that are incredibly easy to use and offer an intuitive method of shaping your sound.
