I would say the blurb delivered on what the plot was about, but it felt like a something I’d read in wattpad or ao3. When it’s an author I already enjoy, well, I’m all in to see how they will take the tale and make it their own, and boy has this author made it her own and I gotta say that I really enjoyed it.From there a lot of the story takes place in captivity, with both of them being drawn to each other as things hit up in their cell. And we have a seemingly innocent heroine but she’s far less optimistic and sunshiney than the original Belle…and her name is Aurora. She smells so nice, and it makes me want to bury my nose in her hair and lick the salty droplets of sweat off her skin.
