About this deal

Coeliac D isease affects around 1 in 100 people (however it is estimated that only 10-15% of people are diagnosed), and is a condition which means people can’t tolerate gluten, the protein found in grains such as wheat, rye and barley, as it damages the lining of their gut (small intestine).

All of the products, created by Emma and her team, are created to make gluten-free life simple, convenient and tasty. Simply blend 75g of these delicious rice flakes with 500ml of water and strain to create the perfect Gluten Free and Dairy Free heart-warming breakfast. If you’d like it a bit runnier, you can add a dash of milk either before or after putting it into the fridge!

Available in various powdered blends, Alchemy Fibre™️ is easy to add to various types of carbohydrates like rice, noodles, bread and even steamed buns before cooking/baking. Thank goodness for this product, which may not be quite as delicious to me as real oats, and cost many many times as much, but hey whaddaya gonna do? Stir 250ml water or 200ml semi-skimmed milk (or dairy-free alternative) into 50g of porridge in a microwaveable bowl. Our delicious Rice Flake Porridge is perfect for people who cannot tolerate gluten free oats or who simply enjoy a little variety in the mornings.

I don’t have an intolerance to gluten but if I eat a lot of wheat (and/or dairy) I get hives all over my hands. Information and statements about products are not intended to be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

Delicious Alchemy was set up by coeliac Emma Killilea, who discovered she was coeliac after having a bad reaction to some wheat that had become stuck in her sock! Just rice flakes, milk/yoghurt and natural flavourings like mashed bananas, cinnamon and a squeeze of lemon etc. To ensure oats are gluten free you must look for ‘gluten free’ on the label, which means that they are ‘uncontaminated’.

Delicious Alchemy sent me their porridge alternative to try, just rice flakes, no oats in this porridge ! Emma’s company makes and sells bread, cake and cookie mixes, as well as porridge oats in a variety of guises (instant, quick cook, oat muesli) and rice flake porridge.
