About this deal

Hopefully this will one day include finding out what happened to my Mum, who died years ago in what I am sure are fishy circumstances. There’s been a murder at the British Museum, and although the police are investigating, Agatha suspects that they’re missing a wider plot going on below London - a plot involving a disused Tube station, a huge fireworks display and 5,000 tonnes of gold bullion.

Then we have the Chic Clique (or Carbon Copies as they’re known to everyone else) – Sarah, Ruth and Brianna, the CCs are your typical mean girls at St Regis, pretty and popular and not afraid to treat those that don’t fit the mould like Agatha badly, the trio start out as fairly basic characters but one of them stands out by the end of the novel and I’m looking forward to seeing if this continues in the next book in the series. Using her room full of beloved sleuthing novels and operating from detective headquarters in a cottage in the middle of Hyde Park, she’s on the case! Schoolgirl detectives Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are at Daisy's home, Fallingford, for the holidays. Not wanting to waste time, I grab him by the arm and start to stride through the Leicester Square crowds, in the direction of the Tube station. The Secret Key’, the first book in a brand new series, is an absolutely entertaining with a delightful front cover.I had a suspicious feeling about a character that keeps turning up when the Oddlow Agency doesn't except it. Who we can’t reveal as they will ruin your reading experience, but trust me, they are bad, bad dudes! The smell that hits me is like seaweed mixed with rotten cabbage – but it’s still far better than when the polluted algae had taken over.

I live with my Dad at the keeper’s cottage in Hyde Park, and I spend every spare moment (and some of my school hours, oops) trying to find cases to solve.I know she didn’t die when her bike collided with a car, which is what the police told Dad and me seven years ago. only the powers of my reasoning and the help of my loyal friend, Liam Lau (full disclosure: Liam is very handy with computers and the like and I do rely on him from time to time … OK, I rely on him a lot). Join Hal and Uncle Nat as they plunge straight into an exciting mystery – this time while on Safari! Soon London discovers that their water supply has been contaminated and that sets her,and she brings along her best friend,Liam,on her adventure.

When an older lady gets knocked out in Hyde Park, and London's water system is polluted with toxic algae, she knows she needs to step in and solve a crime of her lifetime.

Even though Dad’s in charge at the park, he refuses to let others do all the dirty work and is never happier than when he’s got his sleeves rolled up and is getting his hands dirty. Agatha Oddly and the Secret Key is my first foray into Middle Grade this year and what a fantastic start it is!
