I particularly liked the fungi / trees stories and loved how the stories include really good and accurate natural science in an easy to understand way. She spends her time dabbling in arts and design, crafts with a purpose and occasionally baking cake-like goods. Gabby wrote for series one and two, available to watch on BBC iPlayer, Netflix and YouTube, and is currently writing for series three. My kids (6 and 8) enjoyed it immensely, although I originally bought it as a gift for a 3 year old child but now I may have to get another copy! Each “chapter” has a beautiful poetic story about something in nature then ends its with informational discussion.
