Victorian Ghost Stories for Christmas

There has been a long tradition of telling ghost stories at Christmas; as evenings get darker the long nights would be filled with stories around the fire or by candlelight of the strange things lurking in the darkness outside. We recreate this tradition in the atmospheric surrounding of Wymering Manor for an evening of candlelit tales of the unexpected. With a welcome glass of mulled wine and a mince pie around a roaring fire, you will hear four tales by the masters of ghostly story telling. The legendary Manor House of Wymering has dominated the ghost stories of Portsmouth for generations and as you sit in the splendour of the candlelit Music Room within the Manor you will be immersed in a theatrical experience of these stories that will unfold all around you.
