Despite its invasive tendencies, it provides substantial wildlife value. The ivy’s dense, evergreen foliage offers year-round shelter for a variety of birds, insects, and small mammals. Its late-season flowers provide a crucial source of nectar and pollen for bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators when other sources are scarce.
