In 1980, Strange Circuits became the first act on cult post-punk/electronic label Wax Trax Records with their single 'Industrial Living'Formed by Rodney Bakerr, Virginia Cram and Stephen George (of Ministry / Space Jam fame), Strange Circuits are credited as one of the pioneers of industrial electronica in the USA and, as part of the 80s No Wave/industrial scene have influenced acts including New Order, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Human League, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, FKA Twigs, Peaches and many more.Now a solo project of original member Rodney Bakerr - a multi-instrumentalist, producer and pioneer in the Chicago House Music scene. Bakerr founded House label Rockin' House Records in 1986, and also wrote original drum patters for Roland Synthesisers throughout the 80s and 90s.
