The video processing and upscaling are competent, although not as impressive as some of the more expensive brands. Its parallel architecture allows for its usage in specific calculations, which are processed more effectively by the GPU than by the CPU. One of the biggest differences is that it runs the Roku OS operating system, which has a different layout to Android TV, but many of the same apps. It's another QLED TV – hardly surprising, given TCL's enthusiasm for the technology – but has more basic audio-visual technologies.
