The deadzone changes the deadzone at the start of an input movement. Increasing this will mean you’ll have to push your brake, throttle or turn your steering wheel more before any input is registered in game.

Cruise control has been available as a steering wheel button operation for some time, but advances in the cruise control system itself make this a high-tech piece of auto safety. In some cars, when cruise control has been set (using a button on the steering wheel, of course), sensors on the front bumper adjust the speed of the car to provide a cushion of time and or distance between your car and the one in front of you on the highway. It's commonly called adaptive cruise control, and although not every new car comes equipped with this advanced feature (not yet, anyway), most steering wheel-mounted cruise control functions include up and down buttons for adjusting the speed of your car manually. The GT DD's construction is pretty much immaculate. The wheelbase is this solid metal, passively-cooled monster, and into that slots a sturdy and straightforward clamp. The wheel itself is one of my favorite of all those I've tested, delivering a glutton of buttons that are easy to get familiar with. The included CSL Pedals don't come with a clutch or a load-cell brake. However, you can upgrade to a load-cell kit sold by Fanatec, which replaces the brake and leaves the spare brake to become a clutch pedal. Once you've mastered the pull and push method, you'll finally be able to change lanes, turn into junctions and pull over with little-to-no effort. Go you! Before you rush off, though, there are a few additional situations that will require you to alter your steering technique ever so slightly...

The act of turning the steering wheel while the vehicle is stationary is called dry steering. It is generally advised to avoid dry steering as it puts a strain on the steering mechanism and causes undue wear of the tires. Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case "modification" is necessary.

If you can’t reach 100 with both pedals, or you can’t reach 180 with your steering wheel, you’ll need to adjust your calibration settings to fix this. While other methods of steering passenger cars have resulted from experiments, for example the "wrist-twist" steering of the 1965 Mercury Park Lane concept car was controlled by two 5-inch (127mm) rings, [17] none have yet been deployed as successfully as the conventional large steering wheel. Ford Thunderbird brochure". Oldcarbrochures.com. Archived from the original on 29 December 2012 . Retrieved 27 November 2012. Next, press both the brake and throttle pedal to 100%. Start the button test by pressing the button that is shown on screen. This is often the select button on controllers.Red PL (pit lane) button: Activates the pit lane speed limiter, limiting the car to the designated pit lane speed limit (typically 100 km/hr).
