You can't really adjust the airflow but for me they're perfect the way they are for both mtl and rdl. I've used 80VG juice with the rdl coils and was very pleased with flavour and clouds. I prefer mtl though. I find 50/50 juice works best for that. It doesn’t matter if you vape Mouth to Lung or Direct to Lung, neither is ‘better’ than the other. There is a suggestion from some, that people should start with an MTL vape and then move on to, or ‘upgrade’, to a DTL vape. While I would always suggest starting with a MTL device (for no other reason than it’s closer to how most people smoke) there is no good reason to switch to DTL later unless you really want to, and if you like a bit of both in your day, with the Sceptre you can do both with the one device! The button might seem in an awkward place considering it's on the side when you hold it but I don't use it when vaping. Only to switch it on and off. The device activates when you inhale and I prefer it that way. I've found on rdl it can be a bit temperamental and not activate but that could also be because I'm not used to rdl. Works perfectly on mtl. On the front of the mod is the fire button which is well placed – the original had a side mounted fire button which was a bit awkward.
