The first Teltonika 5G router launched in Sepetember 2022 was the long awaited RUTX50. This 5G router from Teltonika builds upon the success of the Teltonika 4G router range that is widely used in all types of industry for remote access and monitoring using 4G LTE cellular connectivity. The Remote Management System (RMS) by Teltonika Networks allows you to be in control of your connected solution and consists of three main parts:

RUTX50 STANDARD PACKAGE CONTAINS

RUTX50 is the new Industrial 5G router from Teltonika. It provides a high speed LTE 5G Internet connection using a 5G SIM card inserted into the SIM slot of the router. The embedded 5G Modem provides the connection to the 5G network for lightning fast 5G mobile broadband. This is delivered to the LAN via high speed, Gigabit Ethernet for wired connectivity and the RUTX50 router has built-in 802.11AC WiFi 5 to provide high speed WiFi hotspot for wireless users.Pre-configured firewall rules can be enabled via WebUI, unlimited firewall configuration via CLI; DMZ; NAT; NAT-T Other features of an IoT data SIM card include a SIM management portal so you can monitor and manage your SIM estate as well as get alerts on data usage and device disconnections. With an M2M Data SIM solution you can also get roaming SIM cards / Multi-Network SIM cards that can use any of the four main networks in the UK as well as European roaming IoT SIM cards and even worldwide roaming data SIM’s.

Dual-SIM cards are supported for failover/auto-switch purposes, adding to the router's versatility, and a real-time signal strength indicator is included to assist with external antenna positioning. It supports 4x4 MIMO antenna connections to allow for the strongest possible mobile signal. The quoted wireless specification is given as the maximum radio performance. Achievable range and throughput will vary depending on the regional regulations where the radio is deployed.
